How about having a draft mode? I think this would be a fun option. All of the players in a particular league would be put in a draft pool. Then each team would select a player based on team draft order --- a fantasy league I suppose. EA already does this for their basketball, baseball, and American football games. Also an intelligent "General Manager" option where computer controlled teams would offer to sell, buy, or trade players amongst themselves or with human controlled players. This would add realism as teams would always be trying to improve themselves, whether they are doing poorly, reacting to a player injury, or strenghtening themselves for a playoff run.

No way, dude! Draft mode is only for MLS soccer, and it's not the part of the real futbol. So, forget it.
