I was playing Celta Vigo in the champions league, and one of the computers strikers broke through my defence, but I thought he was offside, all my defenders had their hands up, but the computer let play continue and the guy scored and ran to the corner flag to celebrate, when all of a sudden it cuts to the linesman and he has his flag up!!

It was well smart, and the striker was shaking his head in disbelief. An nice touch in my opinion.

could be wrong but seen a movie posted by someone who has the game. As I watched the game unfold, I seen the ref running about , but I was not really looking at the lines, but I can't remember seeing the linesmen ( yes I know, but I am older and still call them that !) running the line during the gameplay, are the linesmen just in the cuts scenes , or did I just miss them?

yep that happen to me as well. I knew I was well offside, but I pressed the shoot button anyway.

I saw the same cut scene, and I was kinda happy even though I didnt' score.

Yep, me and 5 mates where playing our weekly league. argentina vs brasil and i slot one home from what looked to be a deflected pass into my striker. Wouldve put me top of our league but damn linesman ruined it. Everyone in the room thought it was a goal but on replay i was bout yard offside. Went on to lose 1-0 and 2nd position, theres always tuesday :)

Another thing im sure the goal comes up on the scoreboard at first until after the little cut screen to make it even more beleivable, and crespo put his head in his hands.
