Hiya folks! My mate Nick Kojucharov has discovered a technique to add more colours to the kits in FIFA 2000. Instead of the old kits that can only support two or three colours, with this technique we can have up to 64 colours in our kits. These kind of kits will surely add more realism to the game. Just imagine, colourful sponsors logo and team badges could be showed incredibly accurate using this new technique.

The first kit, the Sao Paulo kit has already been published in our downloads section, and there will be more to come. But first, Nick needs to know what teams have the most supporters in the FIFA 2000 community, so he can make kits that satisfy most of the people.

Now, I would kindly ask you to give your support to your favorite teams, so Nick can start making them right away. You can do that by listing not more than 5 teams that you like the most below this topic.

The technique is sooooo easy. I've written a very short tutorial I'll publish soon!

64-colour-technique for jersey editing
======================================

In my opinion this technique shouldn't be a secret. When I first read about it I tried to find out how I can use it but without success. So I found it out myself. I couldn't belive that it's so easy:

First of all you need a tool like Sonique (http://fshsoft.cjb.net/) or FSH-Flash to export the graphics into bmp-files. Then you need a graphic-tool like Paint Shop Pro (www.jasc.com). At first export every jersey-graphic you wish to edit to a bmp-
file using for example Sonique. Then open the graphics in your graphic-program. Now look a the image's color palette and
change the last 64 (192-256) colors to the colors you'd like to use for your jersey. Then you can use these colors to create
your own cool 64-colour jersey. FIFA2K will show these colors like you see 'em in your graphic-program and like before you'll
also be able to change three colors in the FIFA 2000-customise menu.

This is Nick, if you think it is that easy, then let's see it. I have received tons of e-mails. I am telling you all, it is a hard process. His method is only the start, getting an appropriate pallete is another hurdle. I will eventually write a tutorial, please do not mistake me, but I am very short on time at the moment. To Nick:_I know that I only explained the basics in my mini-tutorial but everyone who really wants to make his own 64-colour-jersey will find out the rest. Of course making a 64-c-jersey is more work than doing a "normal" jersey. I know that well because I spend the whole day on making some jerseys (downloading team- and sponsor-pics from the net, decrease their number of colors, manually edit the values for 64 colors in the jersey-pic...)

A Sheffield Wednesday shirt would be nice. After all the way our season's going we won't be in FIFA 2001.

I just completed a ManU-jersey. It'll be part of the x-mas-patch (come.to/FifaXMas) and there'll be a screenshot of it on this page soon. There were also some Barcelona-requests. I suppose you wait for Nick's Barca-jersey because it would be stupid if I work on the same jersey than he does. I know Nick's kits are better than my but Nick has something I don't have: enough time. my jerseys have to be finished before christmas because they are part of a x-mas-patch. I'll make some better jerseys after this patch'll be released!! and if anyone thinks my jerseys are bad then look at all the three-color jerseys. None of my jerseys can ever look worse than those!! And if you think I'm unable to produce good jersey than make better one. I know that Nick is better than me. He makes really professional and realistic looking jerseys!! May I make yet *another* suggestion... since there are two teams from England and Italy done, and I noticed by doing "Find" searches that many people have requested Borussia Dortmund. Since you have satisfied the most of the masses with your kits, perhaps you should finish it off with a Dortmund kit, then you could some kits from smaller clubs. By the way, your jerseys are blinkin outstanding! It just makes sense to me, because then everyone will stop repeating over and over again.. then you can pick and choose! =)) Once again, excellent job!
