There is a demo available from www.iridon.com it is 11MB and takes a while to download, but is well worth a look. The game is a throw back to the pre-Fifa days of Kick Off 2 and Sensible Soccer on the Amiga. It plays top down and doesn't try to be flash at all. The graphics are functunal, the sound effects minimal and the control is up, down, left, right, pass and shoot. No bells, no whistles. However it plays well and I have thoroughly enjoyed the last half hour. I think it is going to be released as a budget effort for around £19.99 and on this basis I think it might turn out to be very good value for money.
No flash licence, no fancy graphics, spartan sound, but if you, like myself spent hours in front of ANCO's Player Manager, the original Sensi and KO2 then you may find this footie game gives you an opportunity to reminisce about the good old days, in the odd moment when you are not playing FIFA 2000.
