I do that on every single Madrid goal dipshit.
I just copy what the cadena ser guys say.
Who cares anyways. Real Madrid won, FC Barcelona lost. That is what matters
Crusad3r 28-10-2004, 08:40:AM Larsson, Etoo, Puyol, Oleguer, Iniesta, Xavi, Giuly, Gio Van B., Marquez, Navarro, ... they all played vs Osasuna.
10 players that are usually in the Barça top 16...
Barça was missing Ronaldinho, Belleti, Valdes and Deco, but i believe some of them were injured.
Anyway who cares, with this defeat Barça will be more focused in Liga and CL, and that isnt good for us :(

yeah and it wont happen alot this season that those two things coincide so you can wet your pants all you want now.

Sorry if i sounded proud, but of course I am not.
I just wanted to say that things can change drastically in La Liga.

;) I missed your brilliant posts
panxoman 28-10-2004, 07:57:PM Well, we didn't play well yesterday, missed far to many chances and small teams always play at 200% on those games.
Of course we should have won, but looking at the bright side of it, we'll have more tiem to rest ... we need to rest the few players we have.
Take Madrid's last year example, they played well on the first part of the season, but on the second half, their players were so tired that couldn't play. They didn't have a good bench to replace the starters.
This season we may have the same problem if we have to play too many games ... so afterall, and admiting that it shouldn't be like this, I prefer to focus in other competitions.
Vedran-10 28-10-2004, 08:28:PM Wow.And to say that the Madridistas around here, naturally fans of the biggest and most important club in the world, don't care about other teams has turned out to be one big pile of bullsh*t.You idiots have been positioning yourselves so highly above others as if you didn't care about their clubs.Look at you now.All excited about Barcelona losing to a lower level team.
Don't be hipocrites.
As for the game, it is without a doubt a big humiliation. But I am not worried. We had a few absences (mainly Ronaldinho) and the team had to slip up somewhere. As I don't consider the defeat at San Siro a slip up, it was time a game like this happened. At least now the team won't be underestimating anyone. Also, knowing that we won 24 of these, it is not exactly on the priority list. And now the team will be able to rest in midweeks when the first phase of the Champions League finishes. It will be a much needed rest in a long season. The defeat is not a disaster.
But these mockings by our beloved Madridistas lead me to think that they have forgotten who is the leader of the league. And if I were a Madrid fan, I wouldn't be so eager to see the day of November 21st ;) .As if the pathetic Real Madrid of today has a real shot against this team of Barcelona. What Barca went through last night is something that Real Madrid has been going through for over a season now.So shut up.
And by the way, you twats are so excited about the fact that we're out of Copa del Rey that you don't see both sides of the medal.Look at what Crusad3r said.We will now focus more on the league and that isn't very good for the rest of the Liga teams.Last season Madrid were in 3 competitions and that exhausted them.Barca are already out of one.Personally I'd rather see us play one compeition and win it than seeing us being raped on all 3 fronts (Real Madrid :funny: ).
As we are playing Athletic in Bilbao on Saturday, I hope the team repays us and gets the three pts.I will probably/hopefully be able to watch the match and it'd be great to see us back on track and more pts ahead of Madrid.
zlojack 28-10-2004, 09:38:PM Shows how poorly Madrid is doing this year that their fans can't praise their own team, so they come here to bash us. I guess it's their consolation.
Hey Madrid, we had ONE bad game in a less important cup against a super-motivated lower division squad.
How many stinkers have you had this year?
How many more will you have?
Enjoy this fleeting moment of pleasure at our expense, but we will concentrate on celebrating our victories as opposed to other teams losses.........
Dream Team 28-10-2004, 09:44:PM I don't know if a win would have been better considering that our squad is of 14-15 players because of the injuries. I don't think we can face 3 competitions with that. They'll be more motivated in La Liga now.
zlojack 28-10-2004, 09:45:PM Exactly, this might actually be a blessing in disguise
0le_Spain 28-10-2004, 09:50:PM For the ppl living int he states i think ESPN 2 has gone crazy and their showing our game against Milan :D

If this is true i can't wait :bob: :bob:
but lets get Athletic first
*waits for Valioso to show up*
Dream Team 28-10-2004, 10:03:PM I've read that Ancelotti might give Shevchenko a rest in the CL game if Crespo is in good shape
About Athletic: San Mamés is never easy. Athletic played Copa del Rey with their best players, that might help us. The other 2 big teams have played already at San Mamés: Valencia tied and Depor won. R. Madrid lost.
Waiting Valioso for more info too.

I don't know why you seem surprise. We're one point away of the next round, and we're still trainling in Seria A, so no need to play Sheva in this conditions.
Crespo is still good, and we need Sheva to work his magic in Seria A, i think its a good move, considering that Inzaghi is super in CL  :S
panxoman 29-10-2004, 02:37:PM FC Barcelona has a very important offer from www.betandwin.com to be the sponsor of the football team. (only football team, it wouldn't affect other sports teams)
The offer is between 13 and 17 M euros. The board is seriously considering to accept it. The decision will be taken in3 or 4 weeks.
Although much has been said about this, and the main option were technological and cars industry companies, now this offer from a betting web site is the first that has been put on paper and officialy presented to the club.

Dream Team 29-10-2004, 05:27:PM I don't like it. I'd buy a t-shirt before they put a sponsor on it. The last year I would have said 'yes' but now..
I hope they can find other financing options and we can keep the tradition.
0le_Spain 29-10-2004, 06:23:PM i don't like it either. The tradition is all about the honor of not "selling" the shirt and your number one consideration is a "gambling" company? .
I'm not totally against putting a sponsor since it would bring good revenue and these days it's almost necessary but i don't think this is a good option, plus the logo looks awful. I say take a little bit less money but put something that everybody would be proud of.
Yossarian 29-10-2004, 06:30:PM The Armageddon will come the day you see a 'Hellboy' sponsor sticker on a Barcelona kit....I guarantee this, Jack.

as long as we dont "fly emirates" we'll be ok (H)
zlojack 29-10-2004, 09:47:PM I guess the reality of the situation is.......10 million euros a year is 10 million. It's a business.......
I don't like it but.......
Let's suppose, we are trying to sign a big star or an up and coming player and are in a bidding war with Madrid, Manchester United, Milan and Juventus.
We have an extra 10m because of our sponsor......so we get the signing.......
What do you think?
Is it worth the publicity on the jersey?
*EDIT*
After reading the articles it sounds like it's the accountants that want the sponsorship while Laporta is still unsure. It's typical.
(It's like at my work, the accountant is always worried about money and doing everything cheap while the GM worries about the image, clients relations etc.)
Crusad3r 29-10-2004, 09:57:PM I think Barça should sell his t-shirt if they can get good things for that... But selling it to betandwin.com ... :kader: :kader:
Dream Team 29-10-2004, 10:05:PM Economically it would be a step up but I don't know, now football is business and without money you go nowhere.. though we're proud of our shirt without sponsor, it's a distinction symbol.. hard decision.
Vedran-10 30-10-2004, 12:48:AM The shirt is unique.Please don't ruin it...
About the next two games, I'll probably be watching them both.
The Athletic match is very probable because it's the best match of this week's round of La Liga. Then there's Milan, which will definitely be broadcasted.I can't wait for these games!

Dream Team 30-10-2004, 09:17:PM Belletti is injured and the youth Damiá might play as a RB. It's still a doubt though.
Dream Team 31-10-2004, 12:05:AM Definitely Damía will start
This is the official line-up:
--------------V. Valdes------------
Damiá--Puyol--Oleguer--Gio
---------------Márquez------------
-------------Xavi-----Deco--------
Giuly--------Eto'o---Ronaldinho
40 minutes to kick off.
Also Shevchenko is not playing for Milan so he'll play at Camp Nou.

at livescore.com he is listed as the scorer of the goal (milan won 0-1), so i think he played, even though they said he wont.

Dream Team 31-10-2004, 12:59:AM Yes, when I said it he was on the bench. He came on for Tomasson in the minute 65.
Eto'o just scored, 0-1 (10')

peruytu 31-10-2004, 01:41:AM Sheva did play but came in as a sub because he was in Ukraine for a few days for the birth of his child. And yes, Sheva did score the goal.
Barca first half kinda started with a bang and then it went down hill. That beautiful goal by Yeste kinda shook barca a little.
That kid making his debut for Barca, Damia, is not bad but i'm wondering why has the Barca back line has been all switched around.. .with Marquez playing out of position and Damia playing in the middle replacing the injured Belleti. If anything, Marquez should be playing in the middle. Barca has been a little weak because of this.. lets hope Rijkaar realizes this and fixes the back line before Athletic takes advantage of it.
valioso 31-10-2004, 01:40:AM FT 1-1 great game, very fun to watch, both teams had plenty of chances to score more goals.
panxoman 31-10-2004, 01:53:AM yes, good game with lots of chances. Barça is hitting the wood to often lately .... damm.
The worst of the game, that famous-wannabe called jimmy jump again. what ann as*hole.
Vedran-10 31-10-2004, 03:00:AM I didn't watch the game because they chose Valencia - At.Madrid instead. :kader:
But I'm definitely satisfied with a point in Bilbao.I was a bit affraid of that match.Good we remained unbeaten.
Drvar - HRT2 broadcasts 1 CL match on Tuesday and 1 on Wednesday. They have been choosing Barca's games lately because they are attractive and fun to watch etc etc.I just saw on the TV that Barca - Milan will be shown on Tuesday night. :rockman:
I watch the rest of those games on MrezaPlus. They have one La Liga match per week. It's usually the biggest match of the weekend (i.e. Atletico - Barca a few weeks ago). They've been leaning towards Madrid these years but now I get to see more and more of Barca since we play better football than Madrid so the people who choose the match probably think everyone would be interested more in Barca than in Madrid. It's never been like this before.I have a feeling I'll be watching a lot of Barca this year.Especially if we get a good opponent in the next rnd of the CL.
What a great game to watch.
This is a game that proves why La Liga is the best league in the world.

Vedran-10 02-11-2004, 12:39:AM I just find his actions funny.Throwing the flag at Figo was classic.I was applauding.
About the team : Xavi is our most used player. He played in 13 games + one extra time period. And I was affraid at the start of the season that Xavi would lose his place in the starting 11.
Go Xavi :rockman:
From the official site.
americangreg 02-11-2004, 01:45:AM Thxn DT!
Dream Team 02-11-2004, 02:35:AM No problem
The list for tomorrow's game:
Goalkeepers: V. Valdés, Rubén
Defenders: Belletti, Puyol, Oleguer, Gio, F. Navarro, Peña
Midfielders: Xavi, Deco, Iniesta, Gerard, Messi, Márquez*
Forwards: Giuly, Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Larsson
Belletti is ok and Gerard is back. Anyway I think Márquez will stay on the midfield because he's done a great job there so far.
Oscarpuma9 02-11-2004, 03:17:AM yeah Marquez has benn playing good.
Dream Team 04-11-2004, 04:49:AM Great game yesterday. Xavi, Eto'o and Puyol were fantastic. Ronaldinho actually only had that great minute, it was enough though. I hope he finds his best form now. I hope Giuly recover his form too because he sucks since the last injury. Now we need just one more point.
Next match: Barça-Depor. Depor are in very bad form and we've not lost any point at Camp Nou. I believe we'll win (mainly if Mauro Silva and Sergio don't play)
Vedran-10 05-11-2004, 01:57:AM I'm conviced we'll beat Depor because we are in a great run. When a team is playing like Barca are at the moment, the opponent's form is of less importance so I'm not looking for another bad display by Deportivo.I want to see us playing as we did against Milan. If we can match that, we shouldn't have a problem.
BTW that goal will definitely be a big lift for Ronaldinho.
Dream Team 06-11-2004, 02:12:AM Roberto de Assis (Ronaldinho's brother and agent): "Ronaldinho wants to stay for ever"

The list for Depor:
Goalkeepers: Víctor Valdés, Rubén
Defenders: Márquez, Puyol, Belletti, Oleguer, Gio, F. Navarro, Damià
Midfielders: Deco, Xavi, Gerard, Iniesta, Messi
Forwards: Giuly, Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Larsson
Sylvinho might return the next week. All good news :)
I forgot, Pérez tempted Iniesta. Of course he doesn't want to leave Barça, Iniesta is a grateful man and he would never do that. Looks like Perez is looking for another f*go. They're looking at Barça all the time. Pathetic.
Vedran-10 06-11-2004, 06:43:AM Seeing as Chelsea are practically the only ones who might afford Ronaldinho, I'm not worried about him leaving.Especially since Roman already had an offer rejected.
Ronaldinho in Barca for the rest of his career...sounds perfect.
:rockman:
Perez = Real Madrid = reformed morons.
I'm surprised they want Iniesta, tho.I mean, he isn't gay, and he's no big shirt seller...what could they possibly want him for?
BTW Jorguera will be back in three weeks since the recovery is going as planned. (Y)
Also, it's been a year since Barcelona - Depor 0:2.
What a whole new story it is now...Last year Depor were above Valencia and Madrid on the table and Barca were struggling everywhere they played. Now we have one of the best, if not the best, team in Europe and Depor are struggling.
Just shows the quality of the Barcelona administration.
Looking forward to beating Depor.Should be a nice match since there's no better way for Depor to redeem themselves other than beating us at Nou Camp.I'm hoping we can display something like we did against Milan.
SuRFy 06-11-2004, 09:13:AM i reckon frank rijkaard should give Joan Verdu a run hes been goin good in barca b team and prolly will be great as he gets older :D. Barca Win 1-0 depors moral is low and aint lookin that great they playin crap football lately and barcas chargin yooo
SuRFy 06-11-2004, 09:15:AM Barca also should sign either tachinardi or dacourt i prefer tacchinardi just the better play but hes only goin to barca if Juve buy C.Zanetti from inter then capello should let go of tacchinardi ;)

Please, neither of the two.I was never impressed by them. Not once.
If we continue having problems with injuries, I'd want us to sign Mascherano. But Deco is doing a huge job.
panxoman 06-11-2004, 11:41:PM Rumors say Barça has talked with Juve about getting Taccinardi loaned for the rest of the season.
We'll find it out in december.
mascherano? I doubt it.

manutd4eva 07-11-2004, 01:39:AM lol, it's like open season on the Deportivo goal.(H)
Eto'o is magnificent, he should've scored 4 by now.
SuRFy 07-11-2004, 02:20:AM barca 2-1 in the second half :rockman:
i doubt barca would get masherano
Dream Team 07-11-2004, 03:29:AM Another great win, another goal for Eto'o, at last Xavi scored.
Belletti is injured, I hope it's nothing serious.
Vedran-10 07-11-2004, 03:43:AM The match was great. The first ten minutes were pathetic for us but then we took control and Depor got owned.
Deco was his usual valuable hard-working self.I admire him because he never seems to get tired.Always running around. He's everywhere. What a player.
Ronaldinho was reserved. But it's ok.He brought us the win in the last match and tonight he was nothing special. You could see he wanted to score badly.I hope he shines against Betis because we're gonna need it.Speaking of Betis, the narrator said that they'll be broadcasting Betis - Barcelona next week. And then Barcelona - Real M. :rockman:
Puyol saved a few good chances for Depor.Again our cpt shines.Best defender there is.
I feel sorry for Ludo.He missed two great chances but set up the goal for Eto'o.Giuly isn't having an easy time adjusting again. But he's getting better.
Eto'o is an animal.I liked how he kicked the ball in the empty net. (H) He has a great chance of being the best scorer of La Liga.
But MOM was again Xavi.I can't believe how good he is.He didn't make a single mistake in those 94 minutes. He's literally everywhere and plus he scored. Our best player of the night by far.
I was also very very pleased by Marquez. He's doing an awesome job.

yes, and he did very well. Yesterday he even had two good scoring chances when he joined the attack.
When Edmilson and Motta, the players who were supposed to play in that possition, got injured everyone got really worried about that, but Marquez has adapted very well and playing as he always had played there. He's even improving every game.
By the way, Belleti injured. Now it's almost sure he will miss next game against Betis and depending on the injury, the match againt Madrid.
Damià will play. He did very well in Bilbao.

Vedran-10 09-11-2004, 12:35:AM Ronaldinho, Marquez, Gerard, Giuly and Puyol all had slight knocks.
In addition to the serious injuries of Gabri, Motta and Edmilson.
And now Juliano Belletti.
I saw how Belletti slipped.I know it was accidental but it's not just him. We're having three major concerns plus the lesser ones of for example Ronaldinho, who has been carrying the Brasil injury for a long time now.The narrator said during the Milan match that he still hasn't shaken it off.And if the invincible Puyol becomes a doubt for a match, then we have a problem.
I can't remember when was the last time we had so many injuries.
I hope I'm wrong and it was just bad, bad luck and that it doesn't happen again. It would be a huge shame if a season which started off great finishes without a trophy because we had no bench or something.

Gabri, Motta and Edmilson out for at least six months.Belletti got injured on Saturday night.
We started the season with 20 players. It wouldn't even be that bad if we had 17 but we keep getting new injuries.
First Ronaldinho carries a knock for a few weeks. Then Marquez and Gerard get injured when Ronaldinho returns. After that Giuly gets an injury and Eto'o gets gastroenteritis. Then Puyol picks up a slight knock and they all recover more or less. And now Belletti picks up a new injury. We are always below the number of 17.
The currently injured ones are Gabri, Motta, Edmilson and Belletti.
Payaah 09-11-2004, 12:54:AM Aahh thats sucks, I kinda know how you feel, Man Utd were like that at the biginning of the season. Bloody annoying...

I hope not, Deco and the rest are much better and dont deserve to be messed up by having Riquelme to come back and disturb the rhythm Barca have at the moment.
panxoman 09-11-2004, 07:53:PM It was a 2 seasons loan.

The name that is being mentioned the most as of right now is Tachinardi, who Capello hasnt played alot in Juve and could come on a loan deal just like Davids did last year. That would strengthen our depth at DM although Marquez has done well there but it gives us more options. Bad thing though is that he's played CL with Juve so he's cup-tied.

MD have praised Deco alot which is good because his role at Barça is not as "flashy" as it was at Porto, he plays more defensively, altough he still comes forward very often and takes his shots on goal and altough Ronaldinho is the main Fr,k take Xavi and Deco get their small share of set pieces also.
Here's a good recent article Mundo Deportivo did on Deco:

I heard on tv the board had tried to get a sponsor who accepts to keep the shirt without its logo. I mean, someone who pays to say barça's shirth is clean because I pay to keep it clean.
They said the negociations were with a big catalan bank called "La Caixa".
I would be a great deal, but also a difficult one. It seems the deal didn't succeed. This bank also has big business in Spain, and the deal could be bad for them there.

Nice article about Xavi good to see he is getting his props outside of Spain.
About Ten Cate here is an article MD published back in August, kinda interesting
http://www.elmundodeportivo.es/20040804/NOTICIA166971472.html
Thing is he should know by now that Barça is a great Club and we have to be ready for anything and if things go wrong its going to fall on the shoulders of the coaches so im not shocked that Sandro may have Scolari waiting if we crap it out this season but the raised contract for Rijkaard signals that we are grateful to him for the improvement of the team since the middle of the season last year (good move the the Club).
Regarding Saviola thats just stupid of him because Kluivert clearly sucked donkey balls last season and Saviola was scoring goals like crazy. Besides he was a signing made by Gaspart so you cant really blame this "junta".
EDIT-http://www.elmundodeportivo.es/20041112/NOTICIA181952512.html
MD: Ten Cate says the interview is BS and he didn't say those things, that he met with Rosell to alert him of this interview by "Johan" magazine.
Bah all this stuff is ridiculous. Ronaldinho is doubtful to play against Betis , he had to leave trainning with back spasms :(

everyone has to be fit for this match. i think its going to be one of the best football matches in a long time :). Barcelona has been in good form for a long time, and Real is getting better and better.
plus i dont know why Ronaldinho has been playing all the time, i understand him playing against Milan, but he needs some rest, if what he says about his injury is true. it can only get worse if he'll play with an injury.

If you're saying that Ronaldinho is worn out or something, then I must disagree. He has missed a few due to the injury he's carrying, and he had only a couple of good games this season, one being the Barca - Milan match. He is often reserved. He plays short simple passes and doesn't get into duels much.He plays enough, I can't say otherwise, but he's not trying as hard as he did last season. In a way it's good because we have him in the team if things go bad, and the great burden is no longer on him alone so he can lay low during a match because we have others who can carry the team to victory.I am gonna watch the Betis game tommorow and I'd regret not to see him in action but I'd regret even more if something happens and he is forced to miss the Madrid game.
If I remember correctly, it was the Barcelona - Betis match when Ronaldinho took the ball and went to break through the right flank. He barely even started running when he stopped and fell down. That injury lasted for about a month and he missed el clasico. The superstitious might not wanna see him play tommorow.
And Madrid are getting 'better and better' on paper only.Their play is still not at the level of such a team. But I'm not taking anything away from them. There were times when the positions were reversed and Madrid failed to win.In such a great duel, neither should be ruled out too soon. This will probably be the hardest match of the season so far, because Madrid is Madrid, and Milan is just another European rival.
I wouldn't mind drawing tommorow and then beating Madrid.I just hope we don't get any injuries against Betis.
The more I think of it, the more I want Ronaldinho in the stands tommorow.
zlojack 14-11-2004, 01:13:AM Also remember that last year was his first year in La Liga and maybe some of the defenders didn't have as much knowledge of him or the respect they have now. Many teams are marking him super tight.
I have been lucky to be able to watch several Barca matches on ESPN Intl. here in Mexico and I notice that he is getting much less space than last year. In the Milan match at San Siro, Gattuso was always marking him. He is brilliant 1 on 1 and sometimes even 1 on 2 or 3....but now teams are more aware and try to adjust to him...so that could also explain why he has had more trouble this year. Still, even though his domination is less, all he needs are one or two great plays to win us a game..
Dream Team 14-11-2004, 02:17:AM Ronaldinho should play against Betis. If he's ok, there's no problem. This week we have to think in La Liga, not in Real Madrid. Personally I have no fear at all.
SuRFy 14-11-2004, 03:15:PM i agree :rockman:
Vedran-10 14-11-2004, 07:44:PM I'm gonna hurt someone if he gets injured.
6 hrs till kick off.
Dream Team 15-11-2004, 10:58:PM Five days for "el derbi" or "el clasico". Puyol is injured for 7 days but he'll play, he won't play with the Spain NT though. Looks like Belletti will be ok too, he's already training with the rest of players. Like Laporta has said, the defeat came in the best moment, the players will be highly motivated for the match and the Camp Nou will be a hell.
Visca el Barça :rockman:
Vedran-10 16-11-2004, 01:43:AM Belletti will be fine but if Puyol is out for 7 days, how could he possibly play?
It would be a disaster if he doesn't play.
It's our luck against f*cking Betis.Last year Ronaldinho, now Puyol.
He has got to recover.
Dream Team 16-11-2004, 01:48:AM We're talking about Puyol, mate ;)
Genaro Borras(doctor) is optimistic.
I think he'll play even if he's not 100% recovered. It isn't a serious injury.
SuRFy 16-11-2004, 11:25:AM i just saw highlights of the game puyol made a horerible mistake :(

Yeah.I've been thinking about that today.I'm much less worried than I was yesterday.
Also, Gerard doubtful. He's broken a centimetre of his adductor or something.I hope he is fit. He's been really good against Betis.
Dream Team 17-11-2004, 03:28:AM Belletti will be ok, on Thursday he'll be 100%, and Puyol is still doubt but the doctors said that he'll play, almost sure. However, Gerard has been discarded.
Vedran-10 17-11-2004, 06:11:AM Gerard out?
That's great.I just hope none of our players who are on Int. duty get injured.

Dream Team 18-11-2004, 02:37:AM New TV3 logo on the sleeve.
http://www.fcbarcelona.com/imagenes/jugadores/futbol/puyol/171104_puyolTv3_gran.jpg
Giuly has been substituted because of an injury when he was playing with France, it isn't serious according to what I've heard on the radio but with the game in 3 days.. let's cross fingers.
SuRFy 18-11-2004, 10:38:AM hmmm at least its yellow
hanek45 18-11-2004, 10:41:AM 4 in a row..
zka is a freakin postbooster..:f***:
Who would substitue Guily?
zlojack 18-11-2004, 10:08:PM I guess if they are going to have a sponsor, I prefer it on the sleeve rather than the front. But I still don't like it!!!
Dream Team 19-11-2004, 01:04:AM Iniesta has renewed until 2010 :rockman:
His clause was increased to 60 million €.
The injury of Giuly is nothing serious, he's doubt for the next game but he'll play.
Vedran-10 19-11-2004, 01:18:AM Last night I kept hitting the Post R. button because my PC crashed.
I didn't know it was posted 4 times. :kader:
It's great that Iniesta renewed.
If a sponsor logo on the sleeve is what will keep the big ugly logo from being displayed on the front, then I'd accept it.I hope this is the only logo we attach to the kit, tho.
Vedran-10 21-11-2004, 06:32:AM Thread Revival.
Now that we've beaten Real Madrid and have gone 7 pts clear (with Espanyol being able to cut that to 6 if they win tommorow), we're looking to another good match at the Nou Camp.
Wednesday, 24 Nov, FCB-Celtic (20:45). Champions League. Round 5
I hope I can watch it.The way the Team is playing, it should be awesome.
ntigers2004 21-11-2004, 06:37:AM hey guys would any of u kno a website where i can get live streaming of la liga games?

Prostitute, I think.
Vedran-10 22-11-2004, 05:57:AM I'm glad we turned down the bid from betandwin. We also turned down 50 million pounds with that sponsorship deal. ;)
And I've just read at skysports that Ronaldinho would accept a 10 year deal.I think it's a bit too much but I'd like him to sign a big deal, like an eight-year one.
It'd be the end of his career by then.Having a player like that spend virtually his entire career at Barcelona would be awesome.

0le_Spain 22-11-2004, 09:33:PM Damn this can't be coincidence anymore:( .
I don't know if it's possible but we should recall Saviola and sign a couple of players in January.
CrazyElBarca 22-11-2004, 09:53:PM Thanks to all!
I am sad to hear about Henkes injured :(
We chould buy a or two players at january... Bojinov is a good player, but I don't about he has a EU-passport?
We can'n't get Saviola, Riquelme, Sergio Garica you name it...
I want to see players at FC Barcelona soon:
- V. Bojinov (if he has a eu-passport)
- E. Davids (he is a amazing player with good influrence!)
- D. Bonera
americangreg 22-11-2004, 11:15:PM Bojinov? I've never heard of him before, so probably he's not as good as you say..
Davids? No way I'd want him back now. There's no room for such arrogant players in this team..
Bonera? Same as Bojinov...
mark77 22-11-2004, 11:27:PM Bojinov is possibly better than Rooney ATM and he's younger.

Valer0n 23-11-2004, 06:08:PM Larsson has renewed until the 2006, It is a good gesture of Laporta to renew it now
americangreg 23-11-2004, 07:23:PM very nice gesture of laporta indeed. it turned out pretty well actually. laporta becoming president, he signed rijkaard. I haven't seen him making any real mistakes. good president imo. It just came to my mind now that he extended larssons contract...
Dream Team 23-11-2004, 08:10:PM Nice gesture. Larsson is considering his retirement, but with this gesture and when he hears the Camp Nou tomorrow.. I believe he'll wear 'blaugrana' the next season.
Vedran-10 24-11-2004, 12:34:AM It's a great gesture considering Larsson's age and the seriousness of the injury.
:rockman: Laporta.
The contract Larsson previously had stated that if Larsson plays 60% of the games for at least 45 minutes, the renewal is automatic. But since it isn't possible anymore, they renewed anyway. That's classy.
I hope Larsson stays with us for as long as possible.
I'm not even bothered about an injury anymore.I see now it's a common thing in FC Barcelona. Can't be a coincidence, tho.
BTW the official site says that Eto'o has the best goal per game average. He beats the likes of Sheva and Henry. One guy equals his record (Kulit) and one guy beats it (Hartson) but they are from Feyenoord and Celtic so they are also in lesser leagues and Eto'o's efficiency has more value. What a purchase we've made.
The site also says how the Team hasn't lost a point at the Nou Camp in seven months and that if they don't lose their next two league games at home, they'll go for over a year unbeaten in Barcelona. The last defeat being the one vs Madrid (1-2).
Except for Larsson, a bunch of good news.

Dream Team 28-11-2004, 02:53:AM Getafe 1-2 Barça
If Real Madrid have San Casillas, we have San Valdés. Great game by our goalkeeper, he saved us. It's the first game that Barça deserved to lose. They won though. They played 2 minutes and scored 2 goals. 10 points (H). Go Levante.

Yeah, that save from the header in the first half was breathtaking. Gordon Banks save vs Pele in 1970 came to mind.
I just want to say that Barcelona is my #1 team in the world atm. Despite that my signature shows zlatan and juve, only because zlatan is my #1 player.
I love barca, last year I stood in the middle of camp nou admireing that incredible stadium. It was empty, =), but I'll never forget it.
LA PRIMERA DIVISION IS OURS THIS YEAR!
ps: sorry if I spelled anything wrong =)

pretty good for a Mexican. (H)
Vedran-10 01-12-2004, 04:41:AM We were really lucky. And it was against Getafe
I'm going to Barcelona in late August/early September.
I'm going with my class on a school trip. We're gonna spend 2 days in Barcelona (three hours at the Camp Nou).
I live for those three hrs.
Dream Team 04-12-2004, 05:47:AM Great opportunity to increase the gap in La Liga. Real Madrid play in Villarreal without f*go, Guti and Zidane. We play against Malaga at home.
Giuly is injured for one week. There's a doubt on who will play for him. I would like Iniesta but Belletti or Damià could also play as winger. Iniesta played as winger the last season vs Espanyol and he got an assist, we won 4-1. I'd play Iniesta on the right. Rijkaard can do that, or move Deco to the right, or play Damià RB and Belletti winger, or Damià RW and Belletti RB. Those are the options.
The media talk about Tacchinardi as something done, he would come for 6 months.
SuRFy 04-12-2004, 09:56:AM Tacchi does want that barca move ;)
SuRFy 04-12-2004, 09:56:AM Tacchi does want that barca move ;)
jumbo 04-12-2004, 10:20:AM Just heard that BATIGOL is negotiating with Barca to fill in for Larsson this season!!
What do you people think? :)
Oscarpuma9 04-12-2004, 10:55:AM Well I dont think that Batigol is as good as he use to, but we dont mind getting him on the team.
He is a good striker. :rockman:
http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/4533/batistuta986.jpg
SuRFy 04-12-2004, 11:53:AM Hes a bit old though but if hes in good form and fit maybe but i dunno much about quatari league if thats just a money makin league
Pizarro14 04-12-2004, 11:54:AM IMO he is one of the top 5 best strikers in the history of argentina. and what really pissed me off is when hernan crespo said he was better then him. YEA FOCKING RIGHT
BATIGOL>>>>>>Crespo (H)
panxoman 04-12-2004, 03:07:PM Batistuta is not comming. That's sure.
Let him stay in Qatar and be remembered as a great striker.
SuRFy 04-12-2004, 03:48:PM Crespo is like Ruud they cant score from out the box its always penalties or tap ins

That's true, but goals are goals.
Don't you think that a guy who gets a lot of tap-ins has to get himself in the position for tap-ins?
When they make a career out of scoring that way it is more than just luck. It is a talent. Ruud has a talent for being in the right place to score goals with tap-ins and chips and deflections.....not so spectacular, but still goals.
And Bati used to be able to do the same thing...I would imagine he's lost a step or two, so we won't see him blow by people a la Fiorentina Days, but if he can give us some minutes and tap in a few, I'll take him.
Dream Team 04-12-2004, 09:55:PM Rijkaard said that he doesn't want Batistuta or Van Hooijdonk. He wants a player like Larsson. One of the characteristics of Larsson was his work rate. I doubt Batistuta can do anything else than wait in the box.
panxoman 04-12-2004, 10:22:PM instead of Batistuta we could get Romario ... well, not too much working either :p
anyway, let's forget about rumours and concentrate on winning Malaga tonigh
americangreg 05-12-2004, 01:14:AM Eto'o 1-0 against Málaga :rockman:
americangreg 05-12-2004, 01:18:AM Deco 2-0 :rockman:
