As a lot of you, i'm dissappointed of Woody's departure but I have to think forward and Newcastle now have 14 million to splash out on central defender. THe question is, who's out their, we got O'brien, Bramble, Taylor, and Hughes but we really need a dominent defender with Taylor still to young to take that position.
So who do we get, I read in a paper about them going after Huth which I don't really like. Here's my list of players who could be in the picture

William Gallas
Robert Huth
Eric Kompany
????????????

If Sir Bobby is allowed to spend that money then I would not be surprised if he goes after Miguel again, aswell as buying a new central defender.

we're not gonna get anyone as good as Woody in 11 days, near Fact.
even if we try .. we'll be rushed into a deal and probably get screwed.
I think we should finally get Dawson from Forest for round about the same price as milner...
and maybe hold on for later.

Anyway apparently NUFC will be signing a center back some time next we just have to wait and see.

How about Matthew Upson for birmingham?? in my view he is majorly underated and could do fantasticly well at 'castle :)
