Kaka and Cafu won't be called up anymore to Brazil squad because the officials of AC Milan didn't let them to Copa America and to Wednesday's game against Haiti...... I heard this from a Sport Channel in Romania.

Milan's been a pain in the ass for the brazilian NT coach... though the copa america thing wasn't their fault, Parreira didn't call them up to test new players, but he did call Kaka, Cafu for the Haiti game

Also Dida and other Brazilian players from another teams but I didn't record their names. I put Kaka and Cafu because are more important.

Brazil drop AC Milan trio

RIO DE JANEIRO: Brazil have omitted forward Kaka, wingback Cafu and goalkeeper Dida from next month's World Cup qualifier against Bolivia after the AC Milan trio were not released for this week's “Peace Game” in Haiti.

The three were all left out of the 23-man squad announced on the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) official website on Tuesday for the match in Sao Paulo on Sept 5 and a friendly international away to Germany three days later.

Brazil will field most of their top players, including Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos, when they take on Haiti in a friendly in Port-au-Prince yesterday.

But Kaka, one of the revelations in the last European season, Cafu, who captained Brazil's World Cup winning team in 2002, and Dida all pulled out after AC Milan refused to release them, the CBF said.

KAKA: Not released by AC Milan for friendly with Haiti and hence dropped from Brazil's World Cup qualifier against Bolivia.
Germany's Bayern Munich told defender Lucio and midfielder Ze Roberto not to travel and the pair have also been dropped from the September games.

The Haiti match is taking place on a date allocated by FIFA but European clubs are not obliged to release players because the game is outside their own continent.

On Monday, coach Carlos Alberto Parreira criticised Milan but said the players could have put more pressure on the Italian club.

“The club was determined not to release them ... but at a moment like this, the players have to squeeze the club a bit,” he told reporters in neighbouring Dominican Republic, where Brazil are staying before the game.

The same applies to Lucio and Ze Roberto. It's just for the next qualifying and friendly game but I'm happy about that.

Its not like they were missed anywayz. The big stars (Ronaldo and Ronadlinho) showed up and they are the main Haitian fan favorites.

Anywayz for Brazil's sake I'm happy that those players are only out for the next 2 games and not forever because even when they can be replaced they are all important factors to the squad.

Ancelotti is a jack*ss when it comes to NT duty. He wanted Pirlo to skip the olympics.... even the the FIGC delayed the start of the season so they could be more prepared for olympics.

Ferguson (N)
Wenger (N)
Ancelotti (N)

If it was up to these guys, thered be no World Cups or European Championships:kader:

Mikey, I'm sure Roma's manager would be pissed off aswell if one of his key players were called up to the Olympics. Not everyone gives a toss about that poor excuse for a football tournament.

the clubs pay the players a lot of money, just so they can get injured in friendlies?.. NT coaches abuse their power.. fifa needs to step in and give clubs some recompensation when their players get injured for national duty..

There is nobody in the world who can handle Ronaldinho NOR is there any midfielder...offensive or defensive who can contain him......who cares about the supporting cast as long as Ronaldo is there.....! DUH !

I sTILL say that Brazil can beat anyone in the world even without Cafu and KAKA(who by teh way was not around for the World Cup)

Following your point, we cant put 10 donkeys wearing the Brazilian NT shirt plus Ronaldinho and we'll be unbeatable, DUH! We're the best in the world not because we have Ronaldinho, we're the best in the world because we have Ronaldinho + Kaka + Ronaldo + Carlos + Cafu etc...

Football is not about one player.

Kaka was a youngster back there, and he was at the WC squad, plus he played a game (coming on as a sub) vs Costa Rica. And yes, even without Cafú and Kaká we're able to beat anyone in the world, like i said, we can afford not to have such class players. That's what differs Brazil from pretty much anyone else, because if you take 2 key players from almost any team in the world, they'll struggle. But still, having Cafu and Kaka in the team is a must.
