Hey.

Lately I've been getting ridiculously high scores in PES3.
I play against my friends and the result is usually 7-4 ,7-5 ,9-3 etc etc.
It hasn't been like this before and I wanna know if some of you score so much.

It is turning into one of those FIFA scores.

thats a really cheap way out though.

when people complain they want realistic scorelines, they just don want to cut 5 min. off their game.

they want realistic chances good ai and stuff like that...

Yeah, 5 minutes is just too short to even get into the particular match.

Its funny because I keep getting low scores now when I used to get high scores before, maybe I should attack more and you should defend more :)

I play with my friend on 10 min matches and the highest score i've got was 3-2. If you're playing 15-20 min matches then you're going to get those high scores.

play with the crappiest team against the best team on 5 stars 7 min ...you wont score more than 4

Against the cpu , the cpu must interfer in some ways! I set up a league 4stars as i have started to find that in 3 star mode I was winning most games.

But in 4 star mode it's a new ball game, the cpu teams even some of the lesser one's play the ball around like Brazil of 1970, the league I set up (my team celtic) I added Rangers and all the other places were filled by ManU ManC Arsenal Chelsea Bolton Liverpool and so on.

I play 15min games, so 1 game of the season (league not ML) I got beat 3-2 the in the 2nd I drew 1-1 against Newcastle with the cpu scoring in stoppage time, my keeper booted a long clearance deep into there half and it was 1st timed back with Shearer looking 8 or 9yrds offside my keeper was out passed the penalty spot and as the ball came down just outside the box shearer got his head to it and sent a lobbed header over my keeper for 1-1.

Most game were like this or Id get beat 2-0 or 3-0, I was 3-0 down to Bolton and came back to 3-3 that was a struggle.

And with games going this way I had at this point W6 D4 L4 , Arsenal were top with W11 D2 L1 , 10 points clear of Chelsea in 2nd place. I wss midtable I was on 22 points to Arsenal's 35. I played them next and as expected I was quickly 2-0 down even thought I had hammered away at them, shots were blocked and saves aplenty to keep me out and the odd ball or 10 running away from the player I was passing to.. I nicked a goal back just before half time 2-1.

This is where is gets nuts, in the second half I scored 5 with some ease to run out 6-2 winners, and in the next game I beat Liverpool 5-2. Then against Rangers it was back to struggle just winning 3-2 and against Southampton just scrapping a 2-1 win..

Something is not right here , all games against lesser team or teams of same ability are very close and a struggle, yet the teams that are or were sitting 1st 2nd and 3rdin the league your Arsenal's Chelsea's and Liverpools I hit for 6 4 and 5.. and beat them with ease. Yet I played the same system 3-5-2 in each game, but I play a basic game and I don't change it that much in each game... so I think that the cpu has a lot to do with the results...

You and your friends need to learn the art of defending, simply.

I play on 15 minutes.

Although I suck in defense ,it's not the reason of my high scores.
It's weird.I was getting low scores such as 2-0 ,2-1 etc etc on 15 minutes ,and now it's always more than 10 goals per match.

It's confusing because there were normal scores before.

I think I know what's happening, I've noticed that on some stadiums San Siro, Highbury the game runs slower and on some stadiums Olimpico, Amsterdam ArenA the game runs faster so if the gameplay is faster = more goals. Try to play a game on San Siro and another same amount of time on Olimpico and tell me if i'm right......;)

I beat Panathanaikos 6-0 and Roma 8-0 in my WE7 Master League, 2 games in a row :|

mmm??? I as I said in a post a few above yours that I have moved to a 4 star league (not ML) and in all the stadium I play the faster one I still get 1-0 up to 3-3's but when I played Arsenal at Highbury, I beat them 6-2 so I think your "fast slow" stadium theory does not hold...

Not possible! Of course, if you play a strong defensive and concentraded game!
Otherwise, if you play for fun, not covering players and space along with tactics set correctly, you won't have real scores with one or two goals a match, scored only after brilliant actions or grand mistakes of defence. Us 6 play a very similar stile and at a very similar level! We rarely ever get scores higher than 2:1 or whatever!
5 star level is the only place we go to since we put the first game in few years ago!

LOL Im playin WE8 on 6* and the game is to easy with Real Madrid. BUT once I play with a team like Bolton or Blackburn I get RAPED:f***: :f***:

I think the 6* difficulty in WE8 is the same as the 5* difficulty in WE7I..

I think the reason you score more goals against the better teams, is that you get hyped for that match. You are excited to play the game and in a game like this, paying more attention results in better play. Better play results in more goals. When you play a team like southhampton, you might not try your hardest.

You and ur friend obviously play offensive like Real Madrid...play more defensive and u will see...this will not happen against CPU believe me...

The reason I like WE7 is cause of the unpredictable results. Sometimes I win 1-0, others I win 6-0. Sometimes I even lose :p .

With Fifa I always win guaranteed.

That's why I love WE7.
