they said you would be able to buy things in the store and would earn money or points or whatever you get to buy things from it by doing tasks

What kinds of tasks though?
Anyone know or have ideas on what they would be?

you know the usual..........defeating every team from this league, going this many matches unbeaten..........scoring with created player.....the usual stuff.

i remember what you had to do in fifa 2004 you had to beat everyone in a league to unlock like 5 alternate kits

i hated the unlocking thing in 04.
it was complete ****.

i hope you get more points though, there are so many 3rd kits to unlock. plus night time stadium effects and different balls

they even said you can unlock referees

The only way they could make unlocking things worthwhile is if you could buy classic teams in the EA store. Man U 1999, early 70's Ajax, World Cup and Euro winners, man that would own so hard.

It better feel rewarding to win all the points for the store. I better not be too easy, so you feel like you really didn't accomplish anything, but i better not be too hard that it will take forever or seem impossible.

Well me personally im all for the EA Store and unlockable items.... because you get to choose what you want to unlock, which is an awesome feature. The point system might be like Madden type deal, you score a goal point, you score a hat-trick more points, clean sheet more points etc.. but hopefully things cost like 500 pts but you get like 5-10pts for things you do this way it makes you want to play the game more and more and unlock the things they have.

It was said that you could unlock, Balls, Night Stadiums, Refs, Songs... from what ive heard so far, only 77 items overall. Now that doesnt seam much but its a start and hopefully by next year its more like 150-200 items just to keep it going and more exciting things to unlock, historical players, historical teams etc... I wish they let you unlock Stadiums period not just night time, like keep the stadiums from last year to start out with but and new ones they add this year lets so maybe 10 new ones, have those be unlockable this way its something to look forward too.

All in all im happy there doing it this way and to me unlockables really make a sports game worth it, besides career mode etc... its just a nice reward for playing the game so much....

are you really expecting this from ea, come on now this is ea were talking about here, i know they used to have the all-time teams but they took it for sor some dumb reason. don't get your hopes up.

I know, I'm being unrealistic in thinking we would get any legend teams, let along Denmark 1992. But that would be a killer feature. Maybe if people make enough noise about it it will be in 2006.
