Yeah, I didn't like it. It doesn't even come close to the original. The CGI sucks and the only way they scare you is by showing some grossed out sh*t.

Friedkin is turning in his grave. The first director died, the second was fired, so I guess it makes sense for this movie to suck ass so badly.

Okay, not really a spoiler. But you know the girl that sings a song during the WW2 flashbacks? It's a Dutch song and translated it means: "one, two, three, four, a hood made of paper" and than repeated. Does anyone know where the flashback is supposed to take place?

Oh, when Sarah is running in the tunnel at the end, the CGI is so f*cking horrible...

It sounds sh!t house, all it got was bad reviews and I didn't even like the first one. I understand that people thought it was so damn frightening back in the day but these days it is really not that good at all, it was boring, very boring, and it wasn't scary, not at all... I didn't think so anyway.

I don't really get scared by movies anyway... but I was totally dissapointed with the exorcist... I expected it to be extremely bad, but when I saw it I really don't know what the fuss was about... me and my friends were so bored with it we almost turned it off half way through, it was shocking compared to how it was described.... that was my thought on it anyway.

well yeah, these times the movie has really lost its frightening category but back then was awesome :)

Well, i liked it....:o

As a whole movie is not that good, it felt more like an add on for the first Exorcist( which i liked alot). The scares are pretty vague, sure there is a lot of gore, and gruesome stuff, but nothing bad enough to produce a good scare. You could see everything coming. One of the scenes i loved from the first film, was when the girl came down the stairs backwards on her back, now that was scary and unpredictable. The story is pretty much the main thing on this film, i found it nice, though it fell kind of empty, i wish they had explored the other characters a bit more, like the Doctor's for example.

***Heavy Spoilers****

I mean, she pretty much becomes the main character. Why the hell was she the one possessed?.

****End Spoilers*****

Oh, i didn't think the cg at the end was that bad. It was decent, sure could had used alittle more work though. Overall, the cinematography was pretty good.

Horror sequels are generally tripe. With the slight exception of the Ring series.

The scares were so f*cking lame. A guy walking down a dark tunnel with a small lamp? Hmmm, where have I seen that before? How about in 50 other movies. Half of the scares were just sudden loud noises.

I'd like to see a horror movie take place entirely in daylight. Break the mould.

Second one was better than the first one when it came to the way people were getting killed. Glass, elevator, fence, you name it! (H)
