Montero is no back-up, he is their starting sweeper. Ferrara-Montero-Juliano was the best desfense so far this year, and go to raisport, check the match reports and see, that he often was Juve's best player. He gives Nesta a run for best defender this season, and only because he had 1 bad match this year says nothing. What about that idiot del Piero - did you see him against Celta. I heard he was on the pitch, but I surely did not notice him. Or Tacchinardi, or Zambrotta or even Eddie...
They sucked as a team, they lost as a team. Montero is a great defender.

How can you say montero is good defensemen,all ive seen him do this year is get yellow or red card,this guy is an animal and he causes Juve to lose game.Example:Remember Juve vs Lazio(Italian cup,first game),Juve lead 3-0 ,then that bum Montero trips Mancini(I think its Mancini )and Lazio scored on the penalty.If he didnt make that stupid tackle,Juve would have also gone through.As for Del Piero,he played the same way like the rest of the team,they were playing more defensive cause they were disadvantaged.
