what do u guys think of Totti's sending off against Perugia? Even though i am a 100% Juventus fan, i cannot stand seeing players with the class of Totti being sent off like that. Personally i think the referee's decision was bull****......what do you think?
P.S. im getting worried with the standard of refereeing in Italy.....there have been some strange decisions, especially with the giving of Penalties (the Juve-Udinese game where Del Piero was sandwitched between two players, then fouled in the box is a big example), also Fontolan's disallowed goal against Milan which clearly had crossed the line before any foul on the goalkeeper was committed (watch [GK]Abbiati's eyes in the replay....he is clearly looking at the ball in an area that would be over the line.

Remember referees do commit mistakes.About Totti,I dont think he should of gotten a red card,he just gave him a little shove, meanwhile Capello(Rome's coach) shouldnt have had a red card.

I don't like Roma but it was the first time I had seen them play since they bought Nakata and I was looking forward to seeing how Totti and Nakata played together so I was annoyed when Totti got a pathetic red card.

He should not of been sent off but he shouldn't really of argued so strongly about a free kick that was going his way.

Ah well, i'm going back to sulk about Fiorentina's poor performances. http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/frown.gif

Short answer: he deserved it 100 percent, and it was a second yellow, not a straight red, if I remember right. There's no way you should be allowed to push a ref intentionally and be allowed to get off without a card.
