It could also have been I-er, Ey-er, or A-er. Those 3 letters together could have represented any one of those sounds...
Though I'm not Scottish so I wouldn't know exactly what it sounded like, so thats why I said IF ;)

Legend Of The Past
Honest Man 31-08-2004, 09:54:PM Paul Sheerin? yeah, he was good for Aberdeen but I never thought he was very good for Ayr.
scottish_carson 31-08-2004, 10:05:PM Why cant we have a thread about our team? Why does it all have to be Manyoo and Real Madrid? Just cause we aint represented well at all on these boards, does that mean the me and honest man can't show our colours? Some of you need to grow up.
As for the finicial news - The board members chipped in 20k from they're own pocket. Also, When Gary Teale left ayr in 2002 there was clause in the contract that said ayr shall receive 10% from every transfer fee in Teale's career. He looks like he may well go to pompey for £1 million roughly and that would give ayr £10,000. A big help in saving our club.
Honest Man 31-08-2004, 10:11:PM Well said Carson and btw ten percent of one million is £100,000. As for the rest of you get it round ye! :hump:
