I am wondering if it is the same for anyone else in the world at a game to get a player's autograph then say at a NBA game, NHL,MLB, or MLS.

Like in USA... depending on the sport, you could never get a signature unless you 'know people' or were reeeeaaall lucky.
Other times you might get it before game time or even after.

Did any USA residents that post here attend any matches around the states of the English? teams in a game?Any chance did you get to meet/see up close any foreign players that had matches?
Just wondering is all.
I could just buy a 'auto' jersey,ya, but watching the person actually sign it means so much more.
And No the jersey will never be sold,but will be put up next to my other signed jersey.

Last season i went to a Golden State Warriors game vs. Orlando. after the game me and my friend walked outside and waited to see the Orlando players go into their bus. and when McGrady came out of the building, everyone started shouting "T-mac, T-mac....." and he came over and started signing autographs because it was only a small crowd because noone expected him to sign. My friend is a die-hard T-mac fan and he got a autograph on his jersey. i took off my Steve Francis reebok shoe and wanted him to sign it but t-mac being a little bitch that he is didnt want to sign because it was not a adidas shoe. it wouldve ruined my shoe anyways.....hehe, i couldve made money on ebay though. oh well......dat was my experience with gettin autographs. hopefully this season i can go to a T'Wolves game and get my favorite balla's autograph.......KG da big ticket.

Its easy to get autograph from anyone if they play on Skonto Stadium, you just wait for the team bus or after the game you jump to the ground and surround the player :p

Thats how i got C.Ronaldos autograph anyway :)

I was at the Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls game. after the game Michael Jordancomes out the locker room and starts heading to the bus. Then i saw him and ALMOST thought i was a dream. at that time i was wearing my MJ JERSEY! he signed it for me HE IS A NICE GUY. and smells good (mj cologne) and said u guys have a great day. Great guy and a legend. TO this day i let no one touch my signed mj jersey. I will cherish it and pass it to my son when I get older.

Ya T Mac is a cool guy , very gifted baller, and thats cool he stopped to sign a few. He shoulda signed yer shoe anyways, so what... you make what? 500..00 us on ebay? pfft thats pocket change to him.

If any are familiar with Jai-Alai... i watch that in south Fla. when visiting relatives.. i like it alot,and getting players autos was no problem. See.. a few players are from Spain, so i kinda 'showed off' the RAUL Madrid jersey..got their attention(my spanish sux azz),and they all signed a shirt i bought. Was a very cool experience for me. It hangs on my wall in my living room.

Dunno the games i have been to (NSL, AFL etc) i have gotten signatures. I got heaps from the Aussies in Cricket (Y)

In Rochester after every game they have a signing sessions, all the players stay on the pitch after the game and take an interview with the media or go along the front row where everybody is standing and sign autographs. I could easily get everyone's signature but I don't b/c I won a ball with all the signatures on it, except the ball has a hole in it and is deflating.

well, in Rotherham (UK) we simply go vandalise their cars until they come and stop us, then we get their autographs. :)

Before every home game at Ibrox if your in early enough you catch the players walking from the car park to the stadium or you get them at the Training complex.

At Lincoln games players will sign some autographs during the pre-match warm up, same at Newcastle a few years back when i last went.

Im bored of getting autographs of Sevilla and Fiorentina players (H)

its impossible to do that in Argentina, unless you have a "contact"

i got almost all Toluca players autograph, its not dificult to find them in the town, its not very big so if you are lucky you can come across with some players, in theatres,malls,etc

I even went to Cardozo´s place(toluca´s all time top goalscorer), awesome guy , it was like a dream i was like 15

At Monaco (and French clubs in general) it's near impossible as there are barriers between crowd and players. I got a few players' sigs from my time in the youth team though. :)
