Probable Polish line-up

Dudek
Zewlakow-Bak-Glowacki-Rzasa
Kosowski-Radomski-Mila-Krzynówek
Zurawski-Niedzielan

I won't lie if I say that Poland-England and Pland-Germany matches are the most exciting games for our NT. I'm afraid we're gonna lose like always but if Austria managed to get a draw...

True. England's our favorite opponent. (H)

I remember when Scholes scored against us with his ****in hand on Wembley, in WE98 Quals. :kader:

Bit farfetched maybe but I think England will win. As long as Sven keeps Stevie on when Stevie is trying to tell him that bridge is injured  :)

my prediction: 3:1
- Zurawski directly from the corner (H)
- Beckham (OG in 5 min - during penalty for England he'll kick the ball so hard in crossbar that after ricochet will lob James who'll be drinking water near side line)
- Beckham sent off in 6 min. after he attacked line referee that goal can't be counted coz James was offside
- Owen from 33 m after stupid mistake of Dudek

Meh, Shauno wont play mate. Sven always keeps the same narrow team. It's gay and pointless.

He never drops or even takes off Beckham, Owen and James. It's a joke.

That's why Joe Cole has 8 mins every game prove himself, and I bet he's really pressurised because he knows he wont get more of a chance. Where as Beckham knows he's gonna play every minute of every game, so there's no pressure on him and he can play his game. I wouldnt say Joey Cole's guarenteed a spot even if he scored a hat trick and even saved a penalty.

:(

James :kader: ... It's not even funny no more..

And the way he smiled/laughed about it? 'meh it's life, gotta get on with out' yea right..

Yep it's pathetic. Here is what I think the team should be:

----------------------------Robinson---------------------------

G.Neville--------------Terry----------King------------------Cole

Wright-Phillips------Lampard-----Gerrard---------------Bridge

-----------------------Smith--------Defoe-----------------

England will win this game comfortably whoever plays.

Good lineup, but isn't Cole more attackive then Bridge so wouldn't it be better to put him in the LW spot instead?

I think you have a really good point there mate. (Y)

I think it would be a good idea for both of them to swap positions during the match to not only try out different attacking options, but to also confuse the oppositions right back.

Mayor

hello English fans, so now you know that coach Pawel Janas is muthaf**in idiot :f***:
Zurawski is forward in club - so he put him in midfield all first half
Lewandowski is center defender in club - well, so why not put him in center midfielder, let him pass to forward
Rasiak have no played 6 month in club, now he plays in Siena, scored 2 goals in friendly - so why not put him as the only attacker  especialy when we have other forwards scoring many goals in their clubs?
Niedzielan is the fastest polish player - hmm, let's him enter in 70 or 80 min (don't remember), Rasiak is better though :f***:
the most dangerous actions were from center through pass, Zurawski scored beauftiful goal in that way but who had to pass to forwards? defenders playing as midfielders?

bad luck for coach

England played mothing special today, my personal man of the match: Zurawski

Not a very good England performance, but we have the 3 points which after Saturday's display is all we needed. You don't get points for a good performance.

Player ratings out of ten:

Robinson-7: had a good solid game, didn't have much to do.
Terry-7: Did what he had to.
King-7: Yet another solid game.
Cole-8: Had a very effective game down the left.
G.Neville-5: before his injury he was getting owned by the winger.
Beckham-3: P!ss off Becks.
Gerrard-5: Did ok, nothing special.
Lampard-5: Same as Gerrard.
Bridge-8: Had a very good game down the left. worked well with Cole to give us width, although the left side was a bit over used.
Owen-7: Had a quiet game, but his presence got us the second goal.
Defoe-9: Man of the match (Can't give man of the match to a player on the losing team). His goal was magic and was dangerous throughout the whole match.

Carragher-6: Done the job, but like Neville, in the first half he was exposed.
Dyer-N/A: No time to do anything.
Hargreaves-N/A: Same as Dyer.

http://skysports.planetfootball.com/list.asp?hlid=224555&cpid=219&CLID=114&lid=&title=Eriksson+defends+player+boycott

England manager Sven Goran Eriksson defended his players' decision to boycott the press after a 2-1 win against Poland.

The England team took the perplexing decision to refuse press calls, citing the treatment of individual players after the 2-2 draw against Austria.

"I am sorry to say but I think the mass media sometime over-react," said the England boss to Sky Sports.

"It is very difficult to understand and the reality is a little bit different.

"We are the favourites whichever game we play in this group and if we make a draw we are criticised. I can take that but I have to keep heads in reality.

"I can understand it (the players' decision), very much. I think they are within their full rights. The group has been badly criticised over the last few days."

Eriksson dropped David James, the goalkeeper whose mistake brought a deluge of criticism from the press, but preferred to discuss the goalscoring feats of Jermain Defoe.

"I told him (James) the reason this morning and I think that should stay between James and myself," he added.

"But it couldn't have been much better for Defoe's debut. He played very well and created chances.

"He is a great talent, not only that but a great player and he will score goals.

"We played very well. We deserved to win today as we deserved to win on Saturday.

"After two away games we have four points and I think we are top of the table so we can't complain at all.

"Our performance was very solid. We didn't have any moments as we had in the second half on Saturday where we were sloppy.

"It is never easy. Austria v England, Poland v England - it is probably the match of the year for them."

--------------------------------------------------------------

The criticism was justified in my opinion, Sven, Beckham and James have got to accept the bad comments and get on with it.

Good result for England this away from home especialy.
I didn't watch the game though :p

but the sooner Robinson was thrown into the mix of things the better. James was useless at Euro2004. Him just stading about on his line for most of the goal England conceded inc. During penalty shootout was pretty poor.

I'm glad to see bex got the worst mark from the bbc out of the 11 players that started.

Dudek - pare razy dobre interwencje, nic ponad stan
Janas - porażka na całej linii bo:

Żuraw pół meczu grał w pomocy  a wystarczyło żeby w drugiej połowie zagrał z przodu i gol

sorry for my language, I have no words to describe that :f***:

I'm diappointed that England won because of a freak goal by Glowacki. For upcoming qualifiers.

Glowacki ---> OUT
IN <--- Bosacki

When will Lewandowski stop playing? The guy is garbage.

W klubie Lewandowski gra w obronie i wykopuje pilke z pola karnego i jest bardzo skuteczny. Dlaczego gra w reprezentacji gra w pomocy?

Why didn't Radomski play?

We would have scored anyway even if the own goal didn't happen.
