the menu looks different but that shouldnt take to long to get used to. the new stats are definately better than last year's game. im looking forward to this when it comes out.
champdave 09-09-2004, 04:30:PM Yeah, I think it is a change for the better. Drogba is a tad overrated in my opinion - but I suppose we can expect quite a few overratings/underratings as everyone has their own opinion of the player. Like I always thought Le Tallec and Sinama-Pongolle was always underrated as 4* talents!
rd[r] 09-09-2004, 09:11:PM How did you come to that conclusion that Drogba is overrated, have you seen him play prior to his purchase?
If anything Robben is overrated, because the dutch are crap at football

Marseille have visited Monaco a fair few times, and I have visited Marseille a fair few times :ewan:
The official TCM site is down too - hope they are rebuilding it all so TCM2005 is the main game and we have lots more information!

maybe by looking at his stats and comparing them to his real life performances(he lives in France so i think he's gonna know a little about French football players)

how the hell are the dutch crap at football?? you're an idiot
champdave 10-09-2004, 04:24:PM I think Robben is underrated from his performances at Euro 2004 :$
Just noticed this screenshot: http://www.totalclubmanager.com/gfx/screenshots/tcm05pc-015_lrg.jpg
Looks like there is a bit too much going on for my brain to comprehend. Why not just take up half the screen instead of having a stupid palm computer wasting space? :S

What's the difference between french football and football in generally?...that's right, nothing, all football's the same, hence the expression...universal language.

Robben is 19...I think most european national teams are overrated, it's been said that the margin between national teams is soo small now that anyone can beat anyone.
Brazil tend to win the world cup all too easy now.
champdave 10-09-2004, 09:10:PM Please don't double post!
The gap i nquality is still there . . . we saw the Swiss thrash the Faroes 6-0 and also Slovakia 7 - Liechtenstein 0. But the gap in quality has certainly been narrowed - like I said, from his Euro 2004 performances I thought Robben was excellent - but I would probably look to someone like a PSV fan to tell me what he's like on a consistant basis.
Football is different from different parts of the world. The Brazilians play a very flair game, whereas some teams like lesser European teams are very physical. The same goes for leagues too. The Premier League is very fast-paced and skillful. The French league is quite good but there is another side to it (which is more evident in the portugese league in my opinion) and that is the side of diving.
It is a universal language, but it has many regional accents. :)
And I say Czecs for WC2008 (H)
joni84 11-09-2004, 02:40:AM i like Drogba hes a very good player, i dont hes overrated, oh...well maybea little but as champdave say everyone has their own opinion of the players
