This is only for people that don`t live in Europe and don`t use PAL formaT.

If you already have WE 8, why should you buy PES 4 for PS2 then?

If I were you diggi, instead of buying the same game again, I'd buy WE8J-L and then PES4 for XBox later on.

This way, you'll have 3 different games. Otherwise you'll end up with 2 identical games...

I don`t have an x-box yet and if I do decide to buy one it`s gonna cost me well over $250 with a good modchip and a good hard-drive + Linux OS inside. However, buying an X-BOX just so I can play PES4 would be a watse of money. As you already know bro, modded x-box can`t go live therefore it`s useless. Unless Konami puts WE8I-USA online for X-BOX then I`m buying X-BOX for sure. I`m hearing some good $hit about that WE8J-L.


By the way Jumbo - when you have enough time could you make me one smaller sig. with Henry in it , Arsenal logo and something about WE8..

No need to buy a modded XBox. If you'd only want it to play PES, it's a waste of money.

First, you won't be able to play on LIVE with the Euro release anyways, and second, $250 is too much.

Just get a regular $120 for the U.S. release.

The U.S. version's been confirmed for PC and "multiple" consoles so XBox with Online is guaranteed..

Now, yeah, definately get WE8J-L. I know I will. It'll be the best out of all 3 versions.

I am an avid fan of the series and i can't wait for we8 to come to america, it wouldn't be till February, so i am planning on purchasing the pes4 when it is released. Could any of you tell me what i would have to do to my ps2 to allow it to play it. All of your input is greatly appriecated. Oh and what is this WE8J-L version.

All i did was follow the links he posted here, and did some reading. i ordered we8 jap like others here did, and a flip top n swap macic to boot the jap on my usa ps2. Any day now!!!111one

You know PES4 is on PAL format and WE8 is on NTSC-J therefore you can`t play these two games without having your PS2 modded with a modchip or another tricks. American folks still have to wait alot of time until WE8-International is released.

My best option would be if you have enough $$$ buy a brand new PS2 pre-mod system. It`s around $250 with DMS3 modchip (the best chip for PS2).

Another option is knife trick but I wouldn`t recommend it.

Slide Card is a good cheap option. Swap discs and all that crap.

Now WE8J-League is more focused on Japan`s football area but you still have everything that WE8 has. According to Jumbo`s info WE8J-L is a good game I will try it.
