As the Da Ali G would say, "Big up, respect", that is for Fifa 05'. I have been a long time Fifa fan and customer until PES came out, then I transfered to Konami's wonderful version. I was so upset with Fifa that I didn't even purchase it last year. I just got done playing the demo and I am back and I truly look forward to the release of it. I really enjoyed the gameplay, with that said I honestly believe Konami still has the edge with gameplay, it seems a bit more smooth PES. I believe this may be Fifa's best edition to date, the graphics are superb, celebration were satisfying enough, as well as the sound given off by the crowd. I really enjoyed playing the game, I kept wanting more. It felt very competitive, I believe it was at semi pro level. Also, the penalty shootout was fantastic... well done EA, I didn't think I was ever going to say that. I was going to get it for the PS2, but I may purchase it for the CPU... I really wanted to save memory, but the graphics were awesome... Will there be a kit factory similar to last season's, which was very simple to use? I was also curious if there was the official champions league as well as I couldn't find any real answer on that subject.

First Touch makes all the difference, it's by far the best feature of this game. (Y)

Gameplay is soooo much better than Fifa 2004. I'm having such a laugh flicking on balls, rounding defenders and sliding passes to players running into space. Opposition is scoring great goals also, volleys, free kicks (looks so good) now I know not to give away stupid free kicks unlike 2004 when it ALWAYS went for a corner. Henry is so fast compared to others and Reyes also. Try playing with Berkamp. Great first touch but no pace to beat defenders. Scored a great goal when Pires stopped the ball goint out by sliding, got up, beat 2 defenders, crossed to Reyes who flicked it on to an onrushing Henry...bang 1:0. Never scored anything like that in fifa 2004 or before. Well done EA..your not there yet but getting there!!
