What you guys think of the England team?...i think it has the players and talent...im seriously having doubts about our man David Beckham, since Euro 2004 god he just hasnt been the same, i hate the british media, they make it so harsh for the lads to get on with the job..

they should try and get cudicini to play for them, as their keeping options seem pretty bad

they have a great team though, but i dont think beckham will ever be on form like he has been a few years ago :(

I think that the England football team is no different than it's been since '66. They're a bunch of 'almost men'. It's been the same for as long as I can remember. We always seem to make the quarters or semis in competitions and then either get outplayed or just go and blow it. The players play great for their respective clubs, but then seem to lose half of their technical abilities once they put on the three lions. Rooney at Euro was the exception this year IMO.

They need 2 improve in teamwork.....and need to believe in themselve more...dont bother about the media 2 much....
about talent they got a lot already.....but why ebgland cant come out with a good left wing?:(

Nah, it wouldnt be the same if you had an italian playing for England.

I think they should try to work with elderly people before each game. Sometimes giving a bath rub to a ninety year old woman with wrinkles on her nipples can give someone the proper football frame of mind.

england NT is overrated. classic english behaviour, they all think they're great.

sven is too cautious as a manager , he is afraid to make the big calls and drop , his star players even when they consistantly dont perform.

people must realise that england is not as good as they are hyped up to be, and u poms must stop expecting world cups and so on :rolleyes:

I think that since Beckham left Manchester and come to play to Spain there have been an irrational criticism over him. It seems that the fact he isnt playing in the EPL itches you. :kader:

But he is one of England players that fights more and leave his blood in the pitch every match. You should try to put him in the centre, instead of using him as winger (he hasnt the pace :p ).

i think players like Wright Phillips, Gerrard, Smith, Rooney are very good. try putting them together more often and they will shine. Beckham is a good player and he is the captain...so he should be in the team. however what what position he should play in? on the right or in the middle? i think thats the problem England NT is facing. cant put him on the bench but Gerrard, Lampard are very good too. :rolleyes:

they need to use wright phillips more

they need somone like c. ronaldo that can rip the defence apart

Now the English reckon they are superstars at cricket as well. There is no way they can touch Australia, the only team that can is Pakistan (slight bias, obviously);)

The English team is better than Pakistan. Last time England played Pakistan England won. England are also 2nd in the test rankings. Pakistan aren't the team they once was.

Also, Andrew Flintoff and Steve Harmison are very similar to David Beckham, they're overrated! Sri Lanka will put the England side back into shape ;)
