Well, I am Greek, my English has never been that good, all I wanted to say is that his reputation is spoilt due to drugs, but if he makes a brave try to get away from this addiction, it can be restored. He was a fantastic player but obviously very stupid in choosing his hobbies outside football i hope he pulls through and i also hope this is a lesson to any other stupid facks out there.

His doctor said today that because of the drug problems, he has the risk of sudden death.
What can we say? And it's even worse that there are thousands with the same problems, out there.

He should quit using Coca and start smoking Juana. Its more safe and makes ya feel great.

Anyway I think he should have had an overdose when he first got retired so he would have died and all that would be left would be the memories of his great football skill.

If he dies now he will be remembered more as a drug addict then a football legend.

Maradona is without doubt one of the best footballers to play the game, 'To win he needed to cheat'? sounding a bit like the english their fat boy.

He's the best player i've ever watched and it was great to watch him play for Napoli, he's a druggie but as anyone who knows about cocaine, it doesn't act as a stimulant and would detract from his football.

Whether I ever see him again at a Boca match or presentation I'll always remember him as the best player in my life time.

I don't care if people think the man is a legend or not. He was a SPECTACULAR player, and nobody can that away from him.

I try not to let his personal problems and defects erase the excellent image of the player.

Maradona was a terrific player. But I don't see him by far as one of the best ever, cause when he was such a good player there weren't that many other great players at the time, so that's why he was considered so good.

Take WC 86 for example, apart from legend Platini, there weren't many other great players or teams. Brazil and Italy both went out in the 2nd round already!!!!
