Right after getting all pissed off about the gamepad that i bought (ps2 best in the world) that just rumbled in the demo, i decided to take matters into my own hands!!
well ive fixed the problem! the drivers are from 2001 apparantly which render them useless for XP and and new game....
**I TAKE NO RESPONISIBILTY TO DAMAGE TO YOUR SYSTEM FILES!!!!!***
to remove these drivers, do the following:
remove the device from the USB port
open the search function and select c:\windows as your target directory,
now make sure that search for 'hidden and system files' is ticked under advanced search options and search for the following files and delete them:
usbpadzz.pnf
usbpadzz.inf
usbpadff.dll
usbpadcp.dll
now plug the controller back in and hey presto the pad works in the FIFA 2005 demo and probably the FULL game
this is good cos i didnt waste my money
but bad beacuse you almost certainly lose the vibration, which isnt a total loss, well only to my girlfriend...but shes not with me anymore ...so not a total loss!!!!!
