the numbers under the names are individual ID numbers, you can turn them off in the game prefrences, it says you can also turn on player faces and club logos. Does anyone know if you can play windowed?

Yes you can play windowed, there is an option in Preferences "Full Screen" which is ticked, just untick it. I've been playing in windowed, it's fine.

Damn this game is really good, better than 03-04 thats for sure. I just dont like how fast the players get tired and my training scheldual is not that tought either. Look at this pic..... i was like WTF

Hey, I tried changing the font to the traditional font "Chianta BT Bold", but when I try to run it, it is about to go to the main menu when it suddenly comes up with an error :( It's called "fm main.ttf" aswell

Ha. Poor Rosenberg .. they had a similar result against Arsenal in my Champion's League (12-0 I think).

Using the keeper to take penalties probably isn't a bad idea. It seemed to work well for Portugal in Euro 2004 if I remember right. ;)

The GK values were really screwy in the Beta demo, and are still pretty bad in gold. Cassillas and Buffon are up at over £20m each, whereas everyone else, including people like Dida, 'Mustermann', Cech etc are all in single figures.

Does anyone know if the stats are gonna remain the same on the real game as they are on the Gold demo?

GKs normally aren't that expensive, but Real and Juve can pretty much ask whatever they want. The teams' status brings high values, plus they're both pretty young, and very talented, for GKs.
I feel the price may be justified, but I'll never buy them. You can get decent enough GKs for 2 million pounds as well.

Dida's value fits him perfectly. I wouldnt pay double figures for someone who cant rush out and get a cross.

He's a good goalkeeper, but he sucks on the air despite being almost 2 meters tall. He doesnt rush out and he makes some foolish mistakes too. As a Milan fan and as a Brazilian, i must say i've had enough of him. There are a lot of better keepers out there.

I just downloaded the game to get accustomed to the changes of the divorce, and I think I'll download a Quickstart then, cause my only options are Scotland (crap) and EPL, thing I don't like very much, but since Drogba is on Chelsea, I'm watching every Chelsea game avaiable on TV, so, I picked up Chelsea.

First I took my squad, deciding what players are good, what are crap, and what I need, and I need a MR plus a GK, 'cause Cudicini is out for 3 months and the demo is only for 6, so, I don't wanna risk my reserves. I'm still thinking who could be a good sub keeper, but the Right Midfielder came to my mind instantly, McMannaman!!

real isnt overrated. It's just that SI decided that in FM only the world famous players deserve good stats, and only them. I guess the world has run out of WorldClass talents. This database in FM, has gotta be the worse ive seen in many years from SI.

Manchester United's Reserves and U19's are unbelievably underrated.

The Extra time one looks like it may be a bug. I havent reached extra time in any games yet so I dont know if it's a regular occurance of if that was a one off.

This season(2005/06) my defence of G.Neville-Bonera-Ferdinand-Heinze has been very consistent. I've only lost once and that was my reserves against Chelsea in the League Cup.

Hah, they love you. I havn't had problems, except the fans are disappointed at the sale of the "very influential" player Dudek, who hadn't played once in the season. (I sold him at Christmas to Arsenal) :(

basically not much problems in my team just i not understand why giggs can't perform. last 5 games rating were 4-5-6-4-5 :( and another thing annoying me was shoting, i may have 30++ shots per game but sometimes just < 10 shot on target :|

OK, Right now I'm countinuing this, I think if I started Uruguayan league at Jan 2005, uruguayan regens would be added on Jan 2006, but I'll look now that I'm in August also :p

God damnit, cant find a tactic that works. My 4-1-3-2 is suffering, although i think the game doesnt like me. My last 3 scores were 0-1, 0-0 and 0-0. In all 3 games i got at least 10-15 shots at goal (only 3-4 on target though, my training probably sucks). Any help is very appreciated.
