how good are arsenal on the new demo of FM? i just played them as Portsmouth and lost 6-1, they dominated everything! my mate played tthem with man utd and got the same scoreline :confused:

is anyone else finding this?

nah. i beat them 2-0 as chelsea. theyre 2nd in the group above me, they're good but not unbeatable. i just pound them on the wings and cross the ball while controlling the middle and they can be tamed.

Unbeatable? Sounds about right. ;)

Well........ I also lost 6-1 to arsenal, with man utd in the charity shield.
I had my tactics set to the most attacking settings possible to see if it made me invincible like in previous cms, but it didnt work and i got caught out at the back sooooo many times and arsenal ended up having something like 30 shots to my 3 or something. Now, a lot of man utds players are underrated in the game, but the score still wasnt realistic, but then again my tactics werent either. So i tried reloading the game, set up some proper tactics and beat them 4-0. Ok, it was the tactics then.... or maybe not. 4 6-1 defeats to the same team when the beta has only been released this length of time makes me think the game is seriously flawed in some way. :confused:

you lot, stop banging on about the charity shield, no AI manager plays the best team in that

it may look like it is but they dont try as hard as your players, its been the same since CM3. Compare games from the Prem instead

Ok, man utd losing 6-1 to arsenal is not within a lightyear of reality. Its even MORE unrealistic when arsenal dont have their first team on and supposedly arent even trying to win. Thats what i meant. edit: snipped irrelevant sentence (was drinking when posted that)

I lost 7-1 to arsenal and then beat them 3-1 so its not impossible.

I am Arsenal so I can't really tell. But so far we overruled everyone(with a 5-0 win against porto as climax) but the competition is yet to begin so let's just wait.

What do you Guys Expect with us? We just went through the hole season Premier League season undefeated that means we didnt lose a game. That should mean it should be hard to beat us.

Anyway with Arsenal The First Team is really good but if you get a few injuries you could be in a bit of Trouble

Overrated? Come on, they haven't lost a game in much over a season. They're probably the best team in the world at the moment. Don't complain about that you can't beat them. For me, it's a major improvement that CM is harder than before.

It's football, anything can happen.

i agree your point s1260018. tactics comes very important in the game. leading 2-0 up does not ensure you will win the game. like the game i play against arsenal. i was 1-0 up but they just keep scoring become they leading 1-3. i changing my tactics straight because i saw henry was injured and at the end i win 4-3

not sure about the CPU AI are better than before, but certainly the game are more interesting

they are very hard in the game. i lost 8-0 first time i played them and then when i played them again, i lost 4-1 after leading for 55 mins..... then they turned it on and i couldnt get a touch on the ball....

They are really freakin' good, I finally gave in and started playing with them. Beat Banik Ostrava 3-0, QPR 5-0, Bayern Munich 1-0, Juve 3-1, Porto 5-0, Man U 4-0, Charlton 4-0, Everton 2-0, etc etc lol They are awesome.

That happens in real life we play **** one half then turn it on in the other

The first time i lost 4-0 in the shield match, but in this new game i won 3-1.

Vitor Baia played awesome as keeper. Spector played great at CB with Rio (H). Lizarazu was a solid rock in DM, and Giggs got man of the match on the LW with a rating of 10 :)

Looking good for the season :)
