Amazon has Pro Evolution Soccer 4 as being released on November 12th in the UK for anyone who is interested

I'd like to hope that's correct but there are different dates flying all over the place for the PC version.

Amazon is the least accurate for guessing release dates if the last few years are anything to go by.

Last month they had PES4 on PS2 out on 22nd October. Now they have it as 15th October.

But thank God they got 24 Season 3 right - what a show!

Yeah, you gotta be a man and watch the whole series back-to-back - takes some stamina!!! Tried it with season 2 on DVD and fell asleep from episode 6-9!!!!!

Better with the PC , because the Kit makers on here and other PES sites are great (hint hint ) I'll be looking for the new Celtic Home and Away kits ....and not just kits ..... I am getting the PC version for myself and the Xbox version for my younger son!

I think my oldest son has a PS2 in his flat, so I might even get him it too... I think its his mates PS2 and he take it around to his place but they play FIFA on it!!

At gamesplanet.co.uk u can get it (that is what they say the 29 of October) for 18 pounds...

It's supposed to be out for the PC onthe date 12/11/2004.

To be honest, i see a few diferences between the ps2 and pc version.

In ps2 the resolution is lower, if you play in a tv, there´s no problem, you will see the game in a big tv instead of 17" monitor, but if you compare the pc graphics on 1024 at 32deep...well...there´s more quality on the pc graphics stuff.

In pc you can EDIT. When i said edit i dont mean the editor, i mean to create all the correct t-shirts, add new faces, stadiums, etc....(in ps2 too, if you have a mod-chip and a lot of money for to toast dvd ;) ) is more easy in pc.

The fun is the same in both version, konami rules, but im sure that, same that in pes3, ps2 version will go a bit more fast.

To play in ps2 have his pros, i mean, you can play confortable in your sofa, with a lot of friends. In your bedroom is dificult to install all of this, intead, you will play in a chair (hope confortable) and well, more than 4 friends is a bit dificult, but it depends of the size of te room.

And finally, to wait until 15 november for the PC version....uffff....difficult to do, is like to leave smoking during a month!!!!

I think in to have both versions...but we will see with the definitive dates......

Is the "PC version" another crappy PS2 port like PES3? Many people couldn't run the game right, they had to use Double Speed or 3danalyzer, and even then the speed changes throughout the game.

This is that you need to run great your pes (almost it works in my pc):

A cpu beetween 2.2 to 3.2 (1.8 runs good if you have enough ram)
Ram: 256 or 512 better.
A video card, kinda ATI 9700 128 pro or similar to up (nvidia fx series from 5600 to up)

The secret is to have a "compensated" machine....i mean if you have a slow processor, is a fool thing put 1 giga of ram.

Compensate PC: pentium IV 2.4, 512 ram, ATI 9700 or 9800

And the final SECRET: This is very important thing that solve 80% of speed problems with pes. Go to control panel------> and choose audio and sound devices. Clik on the speakers advanced properties. And put your sound hardware acceleration just on the second line from the left. |.....|.....|.....|
