it was only for USA so yanks wouldnt confuse the game with their Football

Thats the gist of it - 'Football Manager' would be thought of as referring to American Football in the US so the name was altered for that territory (and only that territory) to take that into account.

Haha, Surely that would be a good idea to keep the Football Manager name, It might bump up sales (Not that sales can go up much further :confused: ) :D

Well there you go, Beckham is the only "Soccer" player they know whos not American over there, so hes gonna take all peanlties and with Beckham's results none of them will know the difference (H)
