View Full Version : [P+R] Arsenal vs Charlton
Bilo90 30-09-2004, 03:41:PM we havent been doing good since the beginning of the seaon.. but i think that we should have one good match that will turn it all around, and i think that match should be this one.... so 4-1 arsenal...
ljunberg
reyes
pires
henry will hopefully get started again
enigma 30-09-2004, 04:53:PM You wish. Charlton troubled us like nuts last season and with them adding class players to their squad, I expect and even tougher opposition.
2-1 Arsenal.
Jeffers O.G (2). (H)
pazzo 30-09-2004, 05:23:PM 3-1 Arsenal.
enigma: you don't seem to rate Arsenal too highly. This baffles me. Do you watch the same games I watch? Because the football I see is spectacular.
TheBizkit03 30-09-2004, 05:49:PM Arsenal 2-0
enigma 30-09-2004, 06:00:PM I'm sorry but on current form and with Charlton being one of our boogey teams, I don't see us thrashing them.
TheBizkit03 30-09-2004, 06:30:PM I dont think our current form is that bad, its not about thrashing teams, it matters if you have scored more than your opponent at the end of 90 minutes (or at the end of 94 if your playing man utd :crazyboy:) and we have done that enough times this season to be sitting 1st, and we havnt let the opponent score more than us at the end of a league game for 47 games, so there cant really be any complaints
0-3 Charlton, Jonatan Johansson hat-trick.
Just kidding. Same scoreline the other way, hopefully.

I'll go with a 2-1 scoreline, hopefully with Reyes bagging a pair, after what sounds like a bad performance in Norway.

Tallal El-Karkouri !!
Damn I didn't know they bought him from PSG. He scored the winner in their last game. What a player.

Abdeslam Ouaddou is so good too (H) Talal was considered as a crap player in France and know he looks good in England.
For the result I say 2-0 for Arsenal, Henry*2 ?

Crap ? I don't think so. He had many injuries so he had problems without a doubt. He's never been crap though.
He's outstanding for morocco, that's really what counts :)
Yea, Ouaddou is so great (Y) He's still playing for Rennes ?
muz88 01-10-2004, 02:46:AM 1-1
its gonna be an intersting game to watch
Bummy_JaB 01-10-2004, 03:02:AM Henry will score a CRACKER like that Free kick he had last season. That has to be one of the best Free Kicks I have ever seen. :rockman: :rockman: :rockman:

and im so happy cesc will play along side paddy
gunner14 01-10-2004, 11:55:AM 3-1 to arsenal
henry x2
bergkamp or pires
enigma 01-10-2004, 12:29:PM Wot? Really?
Cesc to start?
Cesc is quite important to us because Silva is missing.
Edu hasn't looked his old self, he's hogging on the ball all the time. He's always the one who slows down our one-touch counter attack..
Maybe we should bench him for awhile and bring him back on when he is looking fit and ready considering Cesc is on red-hot form.
PaPaGeorGeo 01-10-2004, 12:32:PM So you guys think that Reyes wont be starting?
Voltaic Borusse 01-10-2004, 12:41:PM 2-1 Charlton

I understand this but I'd be over the moon if I was a spurs fan, only Arsenal has beaten Everton away from home this season so it is a very good result for Tottenham if they can take 3 points. :)
Bilo90 02-10-2004, 10:44:PM 4-0!!
arsenal getting back in form..
ljunberg

i predicted a 4-1 victory.. good enough!!
Brace for Henry, he's my captain. This round looks promising.:p
manutd4eva 02-10-2004, 10:51:PM I can't wait for the 24th.:amika:
enigma 02-10-2004, 10:55:PM I stand corrected. Henry is just.. Magic.
Reyes did ok today, very nice link-up play with Titi and a great goal.. Pity he didn't bury the chance he got later though.
Fabregas didn't exactly shine today, though. But the kid did well.
fender 02-10-2004, 10:56:PM The backheel goal by Henry is just class.
enigma 02-10-2004, 10:58:PM I swear Reyes only plays well with the Total 90s!
lil_kewell 02-10-2004, 10:59:PM hmm damn i was hoping Charlton end Arsenals Unbeaten record. the site that i usually downlaod goals is now being done up to be a better site , soo have to wait a while for that to be finished. Does any one know any other sites to download EPL goals

No I'm not over the moon because we really should have lost that match and had two players sent off. If we played well and won I'd be happy. As for the sad face, I did that because Arsenal are playing football that teams can only dream of. They don't just win a match, they do it in such style which makes me sick to the teeth. They just keep crusing good teams like they wasn't even there. :(

Next Henry that kid, fast as ****.
enigma 02-10-2004, 11:24:PM I just realised that Jose finished from the exact same position against Boro.. Why did he miss this! Arrrgh.. It would have put him level with Henry on the top-scorers list.
Would certainly make Titi work harder.
I also realised Henry likes to slam balls hard when it's raining, he slammed one in the home game against Man City last season. It was rainy but a king was born on that day.
Dreath 02-10-2004, 11:24:PM But Bellion=:sb9:
Bummy_JaB 02-10-2004, 11:26:PM Bellion might be quick. Alot of players are, BUT Henry is one of the fastest in the world WITH the ball.

No, Forlan got fouled in box which gave Man Utd a penalty.
Arsenal defender couldnt stop him, so he fouled him instead.
Booger 03-10-2004, 01:02:AM Then only thing fouled there was air. Blatant dive by one of the cheating mancs.
