God,im sick and tired of hearing that Italy's defense is crap .So how can u explain that Italy is number 1 in goals allowed tied with Norway and that they r in the finals .How can u explain that Holland had maybe 3 or 4 real chances to score on them while they had and average of 9 per game .How can u explain that the dutch Rijkaard said to RAI that Italy's defense is very solid ,even Pele said that it was impossible to breakthrough when you had many blue shirts in front of them .Holland's biggest chances came on pk and not on open play .How can you explain the fact that Kluivert said that he was often frustrated by the italian defense .Bergkamp's shot did hit the post ,but did you all the angles that Toldo was covering ,it was impossible to score and many of the dutches shot were on restricted angles cause they couldnt get in the box unless the defense would do a mistake wich was rare .Respect us !!!!****,we had 3 chances of scoring(3 of them by Delvecchio,but if it was Vieri ,all 3 would have been goals) .Despite being 10 man down ,we still had to fight the dutch team plus the crowd .It wasnt easy and everyone(the media)simply all agreed that italy deserved to win more than Holland .Before saying that italy sucks,well look at us ,we are in the finals and the team endured a tough battle .Those players were courageous and should be fully respect for what they have shown last nite ,but u people cant respect .What a shame .
