I didn't respect him beforehand, but I don't seriously think that he wears her underwear. I'm pretty sure that Victoria knocked it up with Johnny Vaughan before the interview started to give herself some cheap publicity for her TV special on Thursday at his expense. Its managed to put her on the front pages and will probably crank up the ratings of her TV show. For once, I actually feel sorry for him for having to put up with such a publicity-grabbing bint who would do anything to get herself on the front page of a newspaper.

OK, I'm over feeling sorry for him now. Stupid scum fool.

Yes, Beckham is gay. He is quite simply white trash born is some s@$thole suburb in London. By the way Posh actually admitted he wore g-srtings , not her undies,
BULLS%$T!
It's about time a player fouled him and gave him a compound fracture.

Up the Eagles!

ps Manchester Utd blows d#@k apart from Gary Neville

All you people out there only hate becks because he is something you aren't and never will be... a super footballer. He has been part of an FA Cup, European Champions League, Toyota cup and Premier League winning side. Posh is just trying to get some publicity for herself since the spice girls died in the arse.

In my (increasingly) old age I've learned that there's always a grain of truth in any story and a whole lot of rubbish. Victoria and Beckham were probably fooling around one night and that one incident has become her story for the press. But . . . there are a lot of things you want your wife to do, but one thing is most important: KNOW WHEN TO KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!!! This apparently is beyond Posh.

Now, I don't know how the English respond to such things. In America, Becks would find his locker filled with panties. When he walked onto the field, hundreds, if not thousands, of panties would be thrown onto the pitch from the fans. I can only hope if Beckham is the man we all hope he is (and gee, maybe he isn't) when he returned home, his first words to his dear wife were, "WHAT in GOD'S NAME were you thinking ?????"

Now, regardless of his personal fixations, remember the words of the late baseball manager Billy Martin, "I'd start Hitler if he could hit."

Cantona Beckham is still United's best and most talented player, probably along with Scholes.

However the player that I respect as a footballer is really a twisted person in real life.

Similar to one of the best ever Diego Maradonna.

I mean how many players that play on United get to wear the 7 jersey?? Beck, Best and Cantona are some of the greatest ever!

Personally I still like his skills but as a person with such a horrible temper and sickning habits I cant respect the individual.

Just to let you know how unbiased this message is - in my opinion Cantona is still the best ever at United.

And by the way I dont think he's gay just very very disturbed.

Polishpower, you serious bout the he has a gorgeous wife bit ? Posh is not pretty, but that seems to be a prerequisite to be a spice girl.

Crystalpalace, as someone once sang, 'never get angry at stupid people' and hence I won't

gmartinz, and the truth shall set you free ! I agree with your view, it was probably a once off thing, but that stupid woman just wanted some publicity

I like Beckham as a technically gifted player. He might have flaws in his temperament on the field but that would be expected from a human being, we all have our weaknesses!

Anyway, what he does in his private life is none of my concern as long as it is legal!

I tend to agree with gmartinz though, Posh would have had some explaining to do http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

Ok now people are saying Posh is not good looking, damn you have some high standarts there!

Also gooner prefers Sexy Spice? well, another thing I have to disagree with, no way Gerri is better looking.

Myself I would have to pick between Sporty(well maybe before the new lesbian look she has now) and Posh.

Beckham is an ordinary bloke and from the interviews I have seen him conduct, he isn't going to win a Nobel prize or appear on Mastermind, (should they decide to bring it back that is). Beckham has been brought up in the way many of us Joe Ordinaries have been. The difference being he has been thrust into the limelight because of an outstanding gift, and has earned mega-cash as a result. Throw in the fact he is perceived to be the pretty boy of English football and his marriage to a high profile international celebrity he is under constant scrutiny by the media. We all behave irrationally from time to time, and if we all had a quid for the amount of times we'd screwed up in public we'd be laughing. The fact is though we haven't got 500 camera lenses pointed at us 24hrs a day. I haven't lost ANY respect for David Beckham as a footballer but I do pity him. I do think that his wife should start appreciating the mindset and expectation of the average football fan, i.e. we expect the players whom we generously line the pockets of, to give 100% for the cause of our club and fans and not to ponce about like a cat-walk model until the early hours of the morning. The revelations about underwear will do nothing to ease the pressure on Beckham and I should imagine the pre-match sales of frilly lingerie will superceed that of matchday programmes wherever Man Utd are in town. I doubt that the current climate will change and in this respect I question the longevity of David Beckham's career as a proffesional footballer. He now doesn't need to work and I am sure that there will be many other avenues in the field of entertainment that will glady pay for the services of Posh's hubby.

I am a Newcastle supporter, not a Manchester United fan, (shudder the thought), but have winessed a similar story in Paul Gascoigne, a footballing genius who failed to reach his true potential and fear the same path for Becks.

I haven't!! So f#$$en what if he wore his wifes underwear!!! He was just probably fooling around with his wife. I'm tired of idiots criticizing him for his personal life. WHO the HELL ARE YOU to criticize him? Answer me that!! Who ever criticizes him is pathetic!!! He's a great player, one of the best in the world. So what if he had a red card!!! People make mistakes. I'm sure all of us have made some bad decisions that we regret!!! God dammit grow up!!!

I will always respect him after his half way line goal. But he does bring pressure on him self by doing stuff like that.

Juninhio,

Best wore the number 10 for United, Denis Law wore the number 7 in that period.

As for Beckham, I never respected him as a man. And my opinion is no different after the panties incident, whose business is it anyway, what underpants he likes to wear?

But the fact remains that he is still one of the world's foremost footballers, and deserves at least a little respect for his ability. But then, even that is diminshed by his petulance on field.
