Hi guys,
For those bright programmers , editor makers out there and whoever can spread the word, will there be a good camera editor, where you can change the camera position settings like the zoom(more important) and the height.
Dont get me wrong I like the preset ones(sideline and tele) and the how far you can go with height on both, but I would like to zoom them out EVEN MORE to get a better view of the open man and control my game...mostly I would like to zoom out the TELE camera even more than what game allows you(together with the already satisfactory high "height"setting).
Well, I sure hope one of you editors out there read this and make one. I would be very happy as I am sure many fifa players. I would really appreciate it.

Are you talking about the demo cameras because i hope that you can edit the camera zoom in the full version.

Yeah one should be made for both the Demo and the full version. FIFA have really done a poor job this year on the cameras.

i dont think this is possible--hopefully somebody can prove me wrong..............

I'm not planning to build an editor as I dont know programming. But what I do know is the architecture of the "camera.dat".

So, what I'm going to do is what I did with my FIFA2004: edit that file (camera.dat) to zoom the camera out and lift it up a little.

I'll also chage the OTB camera angles.

I tried to do that once and opened the file with notepad but couldnt make any sense of it. Do I need special software to open it or what do I need...?

You need a hexeditor, but if you don't know what you're doing, you'll see only numbers.

For the moment, I have edited BROADCAST Cam. Now I'm starting with TELE Cam.

But first I have a question for you all. I've noticed that everything goes fine in the first game I play when I start FIFA but the in rest of the games, my camera doesnt move when I use the OFF-THE-BALL players. I mean, It doesnt zoom out or anything.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Camera.dat is a file contained in zdata_16.big. You'll find it there.

By the way, I finished editing Broadcast Cam and Tele Cam.

Ok. There's a minor problem with the TELE off-the-ball which will be solved soon. Anyway, you can download the new cameras from www.fifadragons.tk click on DESCARGAS and there you'll see "Cámara modificada FIFA2005" by fuerteflojo. There it is!!

1. The problem with OTB in Tele can harm the ingame action?
2. Will you make the patch for other cameras too?

Your patch was good, but I think, only far away views are boring,
I think you can mix a little bit between, far away camera views and more zoomed camera views,but the Patch was good, i hope for more like that of you.

Sorry to bother ya. i know u must be really tired of listening to us all. but when it comes to camera editing you're the man!!!

Here's my problem: after installing your camera patch, which i totally appreciate, the game crashes sometimes, specially on career games or tournament games, usually by the last minutes of the game or after the end of it.

I have no other patch whatsoever installed. I'm using a no-cd crack.

My PC is almost new, i have a radeon 9800 pro, drivers updated, direct x 9c installed.

Have u become aware of any other cases like this?

No it's ok i fixed it. it seems that when i put in your patch
it messed with my 2g kit's i have, so i went into kitraptor and pressed the fix key and now it works fine now.

(is there any way that when you are within 30 yards of the goal it could zoom in a bit more mabe. :rolleyes:)
