Yesterday at about midnight, my computer started acting very weird. I use Internet Explorer to browse websites all the time. So, yesterday i double-clicked on the Internet Explorer icon and my homepage is supposed come up which i set to "yahoo.com", but it didnt , instead some porn site shows up. and i go to change it and it won't let me change it. so i try to go to yahoo.com and it doesn't work, watever site i type in, it takes me to some heretofind.com website. so i go on my SBC browser and i type in a site and the same thing shows. So i scan my computer with AD-Aware 6.0 and it shows 7 objects, two of them it says possible hijack. so i delete the objects and i scan again and the same 7 show up. so i use a program called "a squared" to scan my comp and it shows 4 malware files. and i delete them and scan the comp again wit ad-aware and the same 7 files show up again. I'm so mad right now i don't know wat to do.......anyone pleaseee help me.. wat should i do?? i really think that somebody is tryin to access my computer. the only way i can access website is to type in on SBC Browser but not where the addresses go but on the homepage itself and dats how i accessed this site.

Don't you have Norton or any AV software. Looks like a virus, and Norton (or any AV software that you might have) will hopefully identify it and give you its name, so you can read on the net on how to completely delete it.

Maybe a trial, I don't know. It costs money to buy, but if you have the right connections, I guess you could acquire it for free.

I think there are free AV's on the net as well, forgot their names though.

yessssss! i think i fixed it.....on the "home page" the porn site, in the address bar, it had a bunch of symbols and letters, so i was lookin at it and it said like .........C:Spn/home.sldsl..........so i went to "my computer", C:/spn and it was a folder that was installed tehre. deleted it and everythin is fine. thanx for help though dragan.

I'd still recommend scanning it with an anti-virus program. Often times, the virus/spyware/adware files are located in multiple places and deleting one directory won't fix it completely, as there may be more, plus there are probably registry keys associated with the program.

yea i just don't know what program.....but i did scan it with Ad-Aware and now all that shows up is 15 files but not registry keys like before. it's normal that it shows 15 files because it always does.

yes. many have recommended it, but in my case just as many reported compatibility problems when going to their regular websites.
