Well, there might not be an american release but i'm sure I can still use the england version since its for the PC... arent all PC's the same? ;)

haaa i'm really tempted to start playing the new game atm....too bad its still a month away until i can focus my efforts in to it.

french league or leicester now there is a pleasant problem.

I'm not too bothered, I got Sims 2 which is still entertaining me and then later this month GTA San Andreas comes out.

no i was registered here from 2001 without making any posts, thn I left and didnt remewmber my username/pass. So i registered in again in 2002. A greek friend who d/led the fifa 2003 demo, wanted to find a greek teams patch for it... Im prety sure I was posting in both CM and Fifa at first, but in fifa only about that patch someone was supposed to be making it. I didnt even have the FIfa demo :P (the last fifa I actualy sat down and played was 01 and I played 03 once). So no, I didnt come here for fifa. I was here in general, b4 you all see all that fancy forums styles with many many posters etc

TROD. I'm getting mixed results with mine. I keep corrupting my saved games, but so far I've played as Chelsea, Millwall and Tottenham. My good results include a 4-0 away win over Roma with Tottenham, a 5-0 win over Liecseter with Millwall and a 3-0 win over Man Utd with Chelsea, but bad results include losing 2-0 to Reading with Millwall and drawing 1-1 at home to Anderlect with Chelsea. I'm definately not up to the standard I should be :(

nah dont worry, most of mine have sucked so far, though my aptly named DMFlood is still working nicely even with the new match engine :) :D

Doesnt score enough goals though, so i may have to revert to somekind of 442 at some point.

I never worry too much about the scoring - as long as the defence is tight the goals will come. I dont have a single tactic with less then five out-field players in my own half - I'm thinking of adding a sweeper to make it six with my next one - but I keep corrupting my saved games so I'd have to start again from scratch :(

nah i agree completly, for me its always defence first attack second. If you're getting clean sheets at the back the goals will eventually come.

Trust me calumn, just have 4 at the back, plain and simple.

Yeah, always have a back line of four and atleast one DMC infront. I was thinking of sticking in a sweeper in addition to this though, it really tightens up the defence - only real disadvantage is you can't play them offside but I never try for that anyway. There arent that many decent sweepers in the game though.

On CM 01/02, I once played:

and it worked really, really well. I got some big scores from it too, and it took them over two seasons to crack it, though obviously I put in alot of work on the wibble/wobble screens which you cant do anymore.

I played the beta demo a bit more :$
The player selection screen i got used to, (still sux big time) and I made a working (it seems) 4-4-2 formation, and I get prety balanced results with L'pool. 3rd in the league with 7won 3D and 1L. Results like I sed very balanced. My only problem is that my strikers doesnt score much. Actualy only Le tllec scores. Baros and Cisse have scored 5 alltogetha :(
