You know what really gets on my nerves in Pro Ev, the goalies stupid animations. In FIFA, the keeper shows a bit of skill like when somebody shoots from halfway line, they catch it and you can punt it back in less than a second.

In Pro Ev though, in the same situation (even with Kahn or Buffon) they catch it, and then drop to the gorund with the ball held in tight to their chest, even when there are no attackers ready to intercept it if he doesnt catch it fist time!

It frustrates me most though, when say, I want to counter attack, and my keeper is lying on the ground, waiting for no reason, when that ball could be up the other side of the park!

Any decent keeper in the world can catch a ball without dramatically dropping to the deck, a decent keeper would know that in stoppage time, you need all the time you can get!

little detail but true. it's annoying some times.

konami only wanted to add more "drama", to show that the keeper had a hard time to catch the ball, so he stays on the ground longer.

is this on PES4?

I dont know if they gonna keep this pish and extremely furstrating animation. I can just hope they feel the same way and have removed it, or at least shortened it...

To me it's been shortened. You're able to play the ball upfield faster than in the previous series. (I'm talking about WE8 and PES4)

I agree there...just cross ur fingers...

in WE8, like in WE7I (japanese version) you can release the ball straight away with the keeper.
