btw, what happened to the demo on ps2 that you could get from virgin store? was it true??

demo comes out like 2 weeks before real release

today: 4 october
4+14 days = 18 days

in 2 weeks it will be october 18 damn it , why not release the demo NOW I WANT IT NOW!

its in some VirginMega Stores , but what others are saying and some offical notices, that you can only go into these stores to play it instore.. you try for your best score and you'll get a code, which you send off to the PES National League and if your score is high enough you get in ...


They will only give you the demo when you "buy" the game!

Strange I know, some are saying they got the demo from some VMStores but they were not suppose to sell it , and others have stuck to the policy and are not selling it ...

I have the demo, and i got it from Virgin megastores outside the BANK tube station in london, for anyone who lives in london

The pc game will be out around the 29/10 or later so demo could come out mid October!!

Somebody here has said that the demo for PS 2 can be purchased when u buy the game...very logic...

Last year the PES3 PC demo was leaked out a few weeks before it was suppose to of been released. Konami have probably made sure it won't happen again this year.

I got the demo from Virgin Megastore today.

Just got the demo today for free at Virgin. It's quite a cool demo but it's a shame it's international teams! Would of been better to see it's full potential with the licensed teams.

But it's cool

Had a 15 minute Italy vs Spain match today in a local gaming store which had a demo copy running (PS2). 5 Star. Won 1-0 with a free kick by Del Piero that went in because nobody felt responsible for the ball. that was quite cool and real (sort of like germany's 1-0 against holland in this year's euro)

the game is good, but not that different from PES3. there are more animations, more ways off disposessing the ball (or trying to control it). most noiceable new thing, he new x button style: press longer, pass to second available teammate. don't find the shooting hard to get used to... it's more or less the same old... oh, and the pitch seems larger, which is a good thing... game speed is just right for my taste, even though i still think the players' movements are too hectic (jap style)...

on the negatives: ball is way too floaty still. got the impression it's even floatier than in PES3. When the goalie kicks it off it takes f o r - f v c k i n g - e v e r until it's back down. like a slomo. heading and shooting are still to weak. like hitting a baloon. whenever you hit it hard it rooftops. the headers are still laughable, because there is just no force behind those whimpy crosses. and mind you: these are some of the world's top players...

ref I didn't even notice... weird..

oh, and is it maybe a bit too easy? i mean, i am but a casual PES player, yet managed to win on 5 stars right away...

a rush judgement of course. overall good game and I'll sure be getting it, if just because i owned all the other ones and want to stay loyal.
