View Full Version : download an early version of CM5
synergia 09-10-2004, 07:12:AM you can download an unofficial beta (alpha?) of CM5 here (http://www.jimobile.com/cm/cm5beta.rar)
also download this save game (http://www.jimobile.com/cm/england.rar) so you won't need to start new game...
I found the links in a japanese cm site
rpvankasteren 09-10-2004, 08:08:AM That's an alpha version at best, though. We can talk **** about the lack of info all we want, don't judge the game by this. Thanks for the link (Y)
PaPaGeorGeo 09-10-2004, 08:34:AM Has anyone downloaded it?
rpvankasteren 09-10-2004, 08:47:AM In progress. About 10-15 kbps, 89.8Mb total. :S
I dont think i can be arsed. Anyway, give us your view on it. :)
rpvankasteren 09-10-2004, 09:38:PM It's, as could be expected from an alpha demo, hardly playable. The basis for a decent game is definitely there, but I couldn't check the match engine, as I couldn't figure out the controls. Much like CM1 in that aspect. :$
The loading times are really long as well. It took at least 5 minutes to start the England quickstart. The fixtures setup is, at best, horrendous. The financial system is fecked, the transfers are disabled, drop down menus didn't scroll. The list continues. This alpha is indeed unplayable, so I won't give a conclusion. Plus it's way over two months old. Lots can be done in that time, let's hope lots was done in that time.
this was the most ****tiest experience i had.
it really is unplayable. it confused the hell outta me. dont download this version. wait for another one to come out, but keep your expectation down.
i simply cant be bothered to download it lol, im doing so much with FM i havent even got time to try it, lol
TROD.
rpvankasteren 10-10-2004, 02:42:AM Actually, I would advise everyone NOT to try it. It wouldn't help forming your opinion, and you wouldn't enjoy it. I can ensure that.
I got rid of the FM demo as well, btw. I'm waiting for the gold.
yea hboth arnt such bad ideas.
Though true i wont be installing CM5, no point.
TROD.
rd[r] 12-10-2004, 08:43:AM What about the stats, were they accurate at least? I'm gonna download it to take a peek at the database

i should listen your advice but i downloaded it. the game is f*ck up. take stone age to load. menu is crap. tactic screen is crap. instruction screen is crap. no transfer budget. squad data no update. eg: forlan still in man utd. and etc.......i play couple and games and i can't held it anymore.
:-puke: :-puke: :-puke:
rd[r] 12-10-2004, 05:24:PM wow, you actually played a game on that incomplete thing, I installed it, looked at afew players stats to check whether they were biased or not...I think their very accurate. Then I switched it off.

it sounds like you fed-up with it also
rd[r] 16-10-2004, 05:07:PM It was completely unplayable to be honest. Links didn't all work...I heard that the employees at BSG are working day and night on the game, hence the lack of information
rd[r] 18-10-2004, 04:59:PM CM5 is officially delayed everyone
i think most of the people don't care about it (H)
