I hear a lot from members of this forum that Fifa98 is much better than Fifa2000.
I played fifa98 on the Nintendo64, and it was a good game. I have fifa2000, but im planning to buy fifa98 now... I want from you the advantages of fifa98 compared to fifa2000. Is it really better? Everyone who played both games, give your opinion and a reason why you think that fifa98 or 2000 is better ,please.

FIFA 98 is better, here's why: All National Teams, Solower (no more pingpong), No ridiculus socore lines, the list goes on. Now FIFA 2000 has nice graphics, and thats about it.

BTW FIFA 98 forum is just above the post new topic thingie.

ALso, menus in FIFA 98 and soundtrack are much much much better than in FIFA 2000. And indoor mode is fun too http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/redface.gif

Yes FIFA 98 is better than FIFA 2000 for the better score lines. However it is old and might be not as enjoyable to play now as it was back in the day. If you remember it were pretty annoying with the goal-keepers with hands of superglue(when they fixed in in WC 98 I think everyone screamed finally!).

On the other hand you will score screaming 30 meter free-kicks, something impossible in FIFA 99.

But you mean this game is still available? I thought it would be out of print for a long time now.

I guess it's still available in stores here , I live in Holland btw... I even saw fifa96 a few weeks ago.. well i go look tonight...
