I received an e-mail telling me that EA Sports finally put out an English commentator patch for us Yanks (and others) to download and that we could link to it from the January 7 postings. However . . . I have YET to be able to get onto the site. Has anyone had any luck linking and downloading, and, is it worthwhile?

OK, I got it. The patch took forever to download, which I was forewarned of, and . . . IT WORKS! Amazing. The dialogue seems similar to that of the Americans (I was hoping for a completely different script), but what I really noticed was that the game seemed slower. Is this possible? I played a couple of quick games in the WC mode and it didn't seem to have to "ping-pong" effect that I had seen before. Is it just my imagination or what?
