I have a question, I use a PS2 controller(connected to a usb converter).
And the button config sucks, and i cant change them in the game, does anyone have an idea of a way to help this.
Thanks

Join the club. I have a Wingman Cordless and can't all of the in-game commands to work.

I called EA Tech support (US) and they told me that even though the game supports all of the controllers listed in the config file, you will not be able to get all of the commands to work and some of the buttons will not be recognized, depending on which controller you are using. :f***:

This is just plain STUPID... Why can't we just configure the controls like in PES? Is it that difficult? Too next-gen for EA to do right now?

Fock EA!! I was actually thinking of buying FIFA 2005 but I think I'll pass.

I have finally configured my Cordless Wingman so that ALL in-game commands will work.

With this configuration, you activate IGM by pressing L2 + X. To activate OTB, just press X.

All I did was switch the OTB & Player Run button commands. I figured out the rest of the commands by just going into practice mode and pressing every possible combination of buttons to see what would happen.:crazyboy:

Remember, this is for the Cordless Wingman. I don't know how other controllers would work but it appears that the "modifier" button is the key. Whichever button "modifier" is on your controller, pressing that along with the OTB button will activate the IGM feature. At least that's how it works on mine.
