What's the sense of this thread? Ask KONAMI why they don't implement it, nobody than them knows why?..

Answer: Not enough international teams to make it worthwhile..

Yes. It's pointless, to be honest.

As much as I want more national teams in WE/PES series every year, Konami didn't add NT. They only added 1 NT in WE8/PES4 i.e. (Latvia).

I couldn't believe it myself. Konami still keep the same format features of 56 NT in WE5, WE6, & WE7. :kader:

I really wanna have the RTWC WE series if Konami put plans on it. But, I am highly doubt it. :(

I can only expect for Playstation 3 platform for WE series. Let's just wait & see what Konami can do...

Yes, I've been waiting for this very basic feature for years. It's almost beyond belief that they have not included it yet.

But the fact that, after all these years of ISS/PES games, they still haven't made any effort to progress the custom cup options, makes me think they never will.

They can't include the option because they would have to pay for use of the licence. Do the other non-fifa games have this option?

^^^ what he said.

i believe the whole qualifying systems requires rights to emulate. That's why EA releases those silly World Cup 2002 or Euro 2004 games. It's basically the same game with a different license.

Yes, it would be awesome to have, but i don't think it's possible. Not with EA around anyways.
Same reason why they don't make realistic league play.

Sorry guys, but that is just plain bullsh*t. Sure, they cannot slap "Official FIFA World Cup Qualifying Tournament" over the game but they can perfectly easily include options in the custom cup to allow you to create this format.

You may as well say that they can't use green grass because they don't have the license. The game is already full of unlicensed teams and players yet we all know what teams and players they are supposed to be. There is no good reason why they cannot do exactly the same thing for the WC qualifiers but simply rename it Konami Cup qualifiers.

why are you so in to qualifiers? Isn't that boring and where to get **** teams as latvia and stuff from? If they are in PES4 then it could've been cool tho but I want a Champions LEague format first!

What we need is cup and league editors like the ones back in the days of Sensible Soccer and SWOS. Quality in its simplicity. Can someone send Nokami a copy of SWOS pliz ;)

I love the qualifiers.

I'd love to play as the smaller nations, the Faroes/Luxembourg/Iceland type countries and try to win a place in the finals. The finals are the icing on the cake but most nations rarely or never get there so the qualifiers are all they ever get to play.

The same is true for the Champs' League - I would love to have the full league format but I would also want to thave the pre-qualifiers.

In other words, simulate the real world tournaments.....it's not a difficult concept to grasp, Mr Konami.

I think they should had some more African and Asian national teams so there is actually a group stage when playing those tournaments.
