Hey I'm thinking about this concept... Sell all your starting players, which I think is about 20, use the money to buy a star player. Then create youth center and get 16 youths. Buy 2-3 awesome coaches. In the end the weekly expenses should be just about as much as a regular team + couple of youths. This is because star players cost much more than youths in wages. This team would suck for the first season of course, maybe even second, but in the 2nd or 3rd season the youths would develop! Of course there is a chance of getting some garbage youths, but if only half of them develop, thats still good, the next few seasons when they promote to adult, I can get new youths etc.

Just wondering if this would be possible? Obviously its not THE best way to climb the rankings ladder, but I just wanetd to try something different lol.

Some people did that before. Beerdrinkers United in Canada has done something like it. He was sh1t for a while, but now his team is alright, and very young.

I noticed a guy from the forums called "fatwonderlad" also has a very young team. Thanks for teh comments, I'll work out a plan now.

I have 7 seniors only... my team is doing quite well too... Youths this week have gained like hell! 8 Balls and counting... all youths! I even have a 3 balled 16YO... So go for it!

Because you can have a very BAD groupof youths, first of all, get 16 youths, if is viable, then, sell all! (I Dont know how good is chinese market)..

Mmmmm..... so anyways I got a new team, sold off alot of garbage and left about 3 stars I really liked in the team. Bought 16 youths. And I got a superyouth (H) 4 speed 3 stam 3 int 4 shooting 3 control :rockman: 15yrs old. I wonder how well I'll do..... I also got two lads who had 3 keeping, both gained a ball today now at 4 keeping. A couple of 2-3 tacklers.

its what ive done i kept my best few players that were any good sold of just released the other players set my youth team up i have about 5 youths/exyouth in my 1st 11 now plus i save money on wages so i can buy better talent
