Buying Stars is not really a good investment, especially those who are over 24. Try buying younger players. I played the game several times already and the best option IMHO was always: Per Cijian Skjelbred (17), Diego (19), Andrea Doga and lots of other younger players who are probably fiction (mind Diego). To be successful is more a formation and strategie issue rather than the players. When buying a player character and talent (which equals the rate of a player's improvement) are the most important aspects.

Buy colognes Podolski, you should get him for free.

thats a bad idea as if u are starting of with a small club like i am as mansfield then you shouldnt as the player will want to much money and will leave u in dept. i hjave found that it is good to get free transfers as there are allot of players go to clubs for free like cisse, hyypia, ronaldo.

if i wanted to young Forwards i would buy Jefferson Farfan and Paolo Guerrero because they are both 21 and rising stars
