On the Pc version Im finding it hard to put the ball in the net the only ways im finding to score is right up infront of goal or off a rebound of the keeper..anyone got any good shooting/heading tips they can give....or is it just pratice makes perfect? :rolleyes:

2 rules of shooting in 05, be in an accurate stance before your shot (shoulders as square as you can to the direction of the flight of ball). Secondly be AIMING correctly as you LET GO of the shoot button (independant of stance facing).

The common mistake for people in 05 is to keep holding a diagonal (usually a full extreme diagonal) while shooting. All that does is manually aim WIDE each and every time. Then they complain none of their shots go in and always go wide.

Instead you must try and remember to ease off a little on the aiming portion of the shot. Using smaller angles on the Left Analog is crucial to allow your players skill/shooting rating to produce a highly accurate shot on goal.

If you are facing a direction or even moving in a direction different from your intended shot angle, you must practice on how to compensate for the added error and inaccuracy that action will add.

Practice 11 players against 1 GK in practice mode, and with full utilization of the steps needed to shoot you will soon be scoring at will from anywhere in and around the penalty box in world-class mode. Best of luck!

In every Console (except PC) It's easier to Play than with a Keyboard XP...

I get 1 out 3 Goals every Shot I Shoot...(mostly hits the Post) XD

Not sure I understand you HenryHyoga,

but yes in 05 especially for PC you must be using analog controls to gain use of the critical aiming that playing on a keyboard will not offer you.
