I just wanted to tell you guys some things (ive been away for the last week)

Schumacher- maybe I was a little harsh on Drinky...I just felt really passionate about the issue. However, I felt Ric was wrong for insinuating I could be banned...I saw what you said and I thank you...you are a good guy!!!

Brann Fan- what can I say man??? THANK YOU!!! I really appreciate your support. All I was trying to say about Drinky was that he should stand behind his word. Ric didnt like me venting on his bud so he got a little rough...I NEVER wanted it to come to that and I felt pretty bad...however...your comments really helped me out.. A thousand thanks bro...and, if its any help...I got your back on this board anytime!!!!

Torch, no, I don't even know Drinky. Other than the fact that he is spending a good amount of his time making a free download so other people will get more joy out of a game.

What I do not like, and will not stand for, are the ungracious people that are so impatient, they can not wait for the file to be completed and have to resort to name calling and mud slinging.

Whether a file is done when the makers first think it will be, or it isn't, that doesn't give others the right to make rude comments.

And I don't care who you think you are, if you continue to make ingorant comments towards someone doing something for you that you do not have to pay for, your right to post messages on this board will be negated. This goes to anyone that feels it's "his right" to get something when they want it.

Just so you understand.

I thought this was all behind us now - Drinky has explained, the patch is coming out, everybody has said sorry to Drinky. Let's get on with our lives, and praise Drinky and Chris for what shall surely be the best patch ever!

Ric- why do you STILL feel the need to keep berating me??? I apologized to you LONG ago about my earlier messages with harsh language and I promise never to do that again. So the issue of me breaking the rules is over. Consequently, your involvement in this matter is also over. Regardless of whether or not you feel my comments are ignorant, regardless of whether or not you think im ungracious, how does that give you the right to tell me that my right to post will be negated??? Who do you think YOU are????!!!! If I swear and break the rules, then I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree that I should be BANNED FROM THIS SITE. However,you cannot tell me that I will be banned for making what you call "ignorant" comments. No one has ever been crucified for ignorance..and you certainly have no right to do so. It is your OPINION sir and you are out of line. Furthermore...the issue you CONTINUALLY bring up is that you will not stand for people being ungracious about free stuff...are you REALLY gonna kick someone off the board for that???? And to answer your question, YES, what you did to Drinky is the EXACT reason I got involved in this in the first place, when the same circumstances happened to Chris and Chau a year ago.

There is absolutely NO excuse for someone getting on this board and being abusive to towards another that is trying to do something nice for people, including you. And anyone that does it after being asked not to will no longer have the privelage of posting, it's that simple.

I'm assuming, and truly hoping, that after pointing out to you how I feel, you will not feel the need to respond and twist my words into more of your logic.

I really am running out of clear ways to say it to you.

To be quite honest with you, I'm really getting tired of this quibble. How about you give it a rest.

I've explained very carefully the rule torch broke, and it is one I take great offense too. If you missed it, go back and read slower.

I am an administrator here. I wrote the rules, I make sure they are not broken.

I suggest you live with it, or go find a place that you would be happier.

Either way, I am tired of this topic and asking you nicely to knock it off.

Btw Ric, TORCH HAS ALWAYS FOLLOWED THE RULES!!!! He hasn't done anything that makes him deserve a ban! He's just said his opinion, and when that came out in a harsh way, he apologized to Drinky. Drinky has said he's not holding grudges, so you shouldn't either. "don't twist it into more of YOUR logic" you said. That certainly sounds like bashing to me (Drinky, ban Ric!). Ric, you ask Torch who he think he is, but he doesn't think he's more than you think you are, but you ARE all powerful here, so you can ban him FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON!!!! Does THAT sound fair??
