Why did Si put in that list feature.You now view the Players in list form rather than side by side.Which is crap to be honest.You can still view over view though but just for a little.Until you click continue to be exact.When I bring in a player I like to see them alongside of Figo,Zidane and others.Not in Long list in which I have to scroll down to see the players.Man do I hate this feature.I hope it can be changed with different skin.If not I hope Si change this before release.:f***:

it aint getting changed, i REALLY dont see peoples problem with it, if you play with it for about half an hour and get rid of some of the crappies so you dont have to scroll down - its SO MUCH BETTER.

Tried it.Still crap.Where else did people complain about it.

i beta test for SI, so pretty much ALL OVER the SI Community forums, though most people play the current screen and then realise it is better, but clearly you dont.

Im pretty sure you can get a 'bog standard' one of the old one if you click on view, one of em anyway

I like the new default view better than the old-school CM default view. I can get a read on a player's morale, stats, even his form, all w/o clicking on his profile. Makes my job easier. Now, only if Doug Ellis can offer me more money to strengthen the squad. ;)

Yea i also like hte new default view for this reason, its much eaiser to see player condition, morale, form etc. Also i dont have that many players to where i have to scroll down on my list so its all good.

I didn't like the old view either, players move too easily from left to right column whenever you add or drop a player.

I would prefer 2 columns...one with the lineup and subs....and another column with players who aren't going to play.

That way it would be easy to see who is going to play and who is sitting out.

I love it like this, so much more information on the selection page. Far better IMO. It also makes it much easier to pick the team as you can arrange it by position then just scroll down picking players. If you wanted to get them all on without scrolling though, just sort by appearances or value or something and all the players you're ever likely to use will be in the first page.

:Andrevico: There is a column view in the Gold Demo (not the Beta Demo).

Select 'View' --> 'Overview' (from the bottom of the list) and the screen will split into columns.

yeah, this does the trick, but there is a problm it doent list players like it used to be in CM03. it just lists them using 2 columns. the players arent "organised" like b4. for example, if there are two GKs the 2nd GK will be under the other GK, not rite next to him in the oher column.

Yea this happens.This is specific case of fixing something which is not broken.Trod since you are a tester and stuff can you ask for both views to be implemented into the game.

No it's called legal reasons. You keep forgetting the layout of CM 03/04 is owned by Eidos, not SI.
SI had to look for a new look, and the one you get when you start out was the best they could come up with.

well, still i dont care. If it's something i dont like, i dont. No matter what they are allowed to do. When you pay for a game u want everything to be as good as it can get. I have to say that till now im not conviced about this game, and im not sure im gonna buy it...

SI can't release the old layout with the game, but the possibility of a scene-created skin based on 03/04 is there.

Compared to CM03/04 the only thing i see as an improvement is the improved media system, and some small improvements in the match engine. But Also the match engine has some annoying things (like Strikers not finding the target even tho they are always alone 9 out of 10 times). less good menus, and the from the part of the database that i saw, it's the worse db i've seen since.. cm00-01

I love the database. Obviously its only quickstart, but I've been finding loads of great talent plus all the big names seem to have relatively accurate stats and values (unlike in the Beta). I agree about the shots not going in thing, but that would be my only serious complaint, apart from the speed which I suspect is down to my comp.

Not necessarily a whole cm03/04 remake but just a normal fm skin with cm layout.
