I just read John Dahl Tomasson's statements on MD and Marca. He says that if you look at both teams player by player, Milan clearly comes out as the better team.

Personally I think Tomasson is a complete nobody to make this statement. He's a good player but in my opinion he hasn't got any right to judge players like Ronaldinho, Deco, Eto'o and others. I think Barça and Milan are pretty evenly matched. But I guess it's just pre-game psycho-warfare coming from Tomasson...

Barca's strength lies only in attack. And its still arguable who's attack is better between the two sides.

God damnit, playing Maldini in the defence with the likes of Eto'o, Giuly and Ronaldinho is suicide. Where the hell is Stam? Injured again?

Poor Maldini cant match the pace of Eto'o. If you watched the goal closely, you could see Maldini wasnt able to prevent the ball from reaching Eto'o nor preventing him from scoring. He just watched it.

Take off Ambro, bring on Seedorf because we're making a lot of wrong passes and if we keep playing this way, we're going to get killed out there. I cant remember us getting past the midfield in the last 15-20 minutes.

1-1 HT i'm happy with our performance though i feel we shoulda scored at least one more goal but Milan's team defense is tough as f*ck to break down. Oleguer messed up on the goal he was caught a little bit forward and Sheva gained his back really well and Sheva gone down Oleguer woulda gotten red carded for sure. We're totally controlling the ball but like i said Milan put alot of pressure in their own half and they dont leave many spaces open and they're playing the counter attack(in a few words italian football). Good match so far.

ambro and kaladze have been horrible IMO.

I still can't believe that ESPN 2 is showing this game, now would it hurt so bad if they showed these type of games every matchday instead of Real Madrid all the time, I don't think so...

Just some thoughts on the game:
-Eto made Maldini look twice as old as he is.
-Deco needs new boots, his shooting was horrible.
-Barca's defense seems to be asleep most of the time.
-Milan's counter attack will score again in this match and they will win 2-1.

Oh man that was great i thought we we're gonna end in a tie and that woulda been so frustrating taking into account we dominated this match(in part because we tried and part because Milan's defensive mentality for this match). You can tell how frustrated Ronaldinho was when he scored that goal he just exploded in a mixture of joy and anger he was given no space all match and the moment he saw he had some room in the left did that "little" move of his to create some space and just drilled it in with his left foot. He hasnt been his best all season but maybe this goal here lifts his spirits up. Great win and great effort by our players, couldnt have asked for more (well maybe a little better shooting at times :crazyboy: )

Then Deco did nothing. We barely attacked. Plus all we did was kick the ball high, back to Barça, so they could start all over again. And yes, Ancelotti does those stuff (sitting back after we score)every time. But he keeps Sheva and Kaka upfront.

Ronladinho's buy out clause is about 120 million euros for this season.

Next season it will be 80 million and so on and so on.

They identified Overmars as a perfect replacement for Figo. They got a good replacement and made a profit.

I doubt it but u never know they could sell Ronnie and buy Robinho and keep the profit (for example).

We didnt sell Figo, Madrid paid his buy out clause. Obviously every player has a price but that offer you posted is just laughable to say the least. Yeh.. Im not saying that offer was a good one. Its just part of the stupid rumour. But its well known that Milan's two strongmen, Berlusconi and Galliani like Ronaldinho.

An offer in January wouldnt be realistic, but wait till the end of the season. I know the likeliness of him coming is minimal, but anything is possible and its not wrong to drool over a Ronaldinho-Kaká-Sheva partnership.
