Martin O'Neill is to be shortly appointed as the new Celtic boss. http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
And is supposedly taking Matt Elliot and Neil Lennon with him,and possibly Muzzy Izzet.

O'Neill will do really well for you, just don't fire him if he starts losing a few games.....
He still hasn't put pen to paper and until he does I'm not getting too excited.
I agree he will be good for Celtic but the fans will have to get behind him and not expect miracles overnight. Rangers are so far ahead of us now that only patience (and a big transfer budget) is going to bring us back on even terms.
This last season was a farce and someone should be shot for the appointment of John Barnes (K D, hold yer hands up) but that's history and we have to look forward now. At least O'Neill has some experience and has been reasonably successful.
I believe Kenny Dalglish should stay in the role of Director of Football as his name can attract the quality players needed to move ahead and put Celtic back where it belongs, not just a big club in Europe but a major force in europe. Once again this will not happen overnight.
