COMMENTS Not really a "find", but for 4 mil you get one of the best defensive/holding midfielders in the world. 19 tackling, 17 marking, 16 passing, mental stats are insane (3 20's, 2 19's, bunch of 18's). His form is usually 8-7-8-9-9 in Newcastle. If you dont have the $$$ I'm sure you can work out a monthly installment plan for him. He provides excellent cover for your weak back four. Only obstacle could be the wage... 30-50k euros.

I bought this guy, and he is really great. I sub him on at half time and play him as sweeper. He is a really good buy :)

Vanden Borre sometimes can have settling problems.. emphasis on sometimes.. so watch out for that. My guess is that in some people's game his adaptability is low perhaps.

Yup I bought him twice.Both with spanish clubs- Real Madrid and Mallorca.With Real Madrid he is on the B team and complains about settling alot and misses trainning.With Mallorca I play him in every game for my first team and its not so bad.He missed trainning once and also complained about settling just once.

Vanden Borre is a pretty good player in my team, although I'm not sure where he's best... DM or D :confused:

I ought him for Arsenal as cover for De Jong. He's class there. I'm training him on the left side so he'd be super useful.

i got vanden borre for free coz he wanted 1st team football for inter. this was in my... 3rd season in charge of AC milan tho. he's about 20 now. he's in my under 20s ahhahaa i set his role to backup i think. and gave him a nice salary.

COMMENTS: The new Makelele. He is the kind of player who keeps the balance in midfield, although he is noted as a MC he is excellent as DMC. At the start of the game he needs some work on the passing, it starts at 14, but it improved pretty fast. He is good enough for almost every team I think. He got excellent defensive stats, I use him to man mark the opponents best players. He kept Lampard compeltly out of the game, who had only 7 passes all the match.
