You should be able to fix that. Check the fake.LNC file in the data/db/LNC folder.
Change "Jens" "" "Mustermann" to "Oliver" "" "Kahn" and you're done.

isnt there an editor for the game? or are we tokin bout the demo

There might be some safeguards in place in the database, to keep certain names out of the game. Those LNC files are there, I think, to override those safeguards.
Maybe the manual will provide more info, otherwise I'll be digging through the SI editing forum once again to find out.

Is this the only issue? Are there any other misnamed things, such as cups or other competitions? I want to start a game now but if a database patch comes out next week or something I dont want to start over :p might as well do the editing myself right now.
