i'm telling you, it all comes down to the management in the end. believe me, no matter how bad you think your management is, it's not worse than Galatasaray's. we have the freakin worst management you can get. they're always broke (i don't know how they manage it, we have so much success, but they spend money on other sports and building unnecessary stadiums). i mean, how come fenerbahce always has the money? how come nobody else has our money woes? our management lets everyone go, they're cheap-ass bastards. they've done so much over the years to piss the fans off.

Gala should have got a lot from winning the UEFA Cup, and you also played in the first stages of the Champions League too???

As for the Zidane link, he was rumoured to be going to several places, (including Liverpool because of his relationship with Houllier) BUT, unfortunately (unless you're a Juve fan) he's signed another contract extension with Juventus.

the winnings helped, but still, i think we owe like 54 million dollars to this company called AIG. i don't really know the details, but that's why we're broke. or the main reason anyway...

What are you talking about. The turkish government just a few days ago forked over a huge sum of there budget to bail out Gala. Now hell has broken loose over there, people want the money to go to schools and hospitals, unless your a gala fan. See how politics play a roll in todays soccer and how soccer plays a big role in politics. The goverment is trying to buy out votes from the supporters of the biggest team in there country by giving freebies to the team. I think there should never be financial intervention from the goverments. If a team cant support itself let if fold. We can't keep on paying players crazy amounts of money and sacrifice our education and health.
