Iv done another thread quite similiar to this but didnt ask the proper detail. I have been on the FIFA series forever but there hasnt been much dramatic change for the last 3 years and im losing the exitement from playing it and thinking about giving PES a try. But i know nothing about it. So a few questions:

does it have licenses for Premierleague? (Proper player names, kits and sponors)

If not, is there a creation centre?

Are there downlaodable patches for PC with proper teams on it etc?

are the croud 3d?
are there croud chants?

Is there fine attention to detail? (FIFA has players stood around like robots at times like penalties)


Is PES better than FIFA?

No licenses for Premier league(Does have licenses for Italian, dutcha and spanish leagues)

Yes, you can edit pretty much anything you want, through in game editors or 3rd party.

3D crowd? No. That would mean modelling 30,000 plus people in real time...seeing as the PS2 is the developrs main platform and its struggling to render 22 players on the field, I cant see 3D crowds happening any time soon.

Crowd chants - Yup, don't know how good PES4s are yet.

Attention to detail is where PES excels, especially in the animations, screenshots don't do the game justice and movies are only slightly better. In FIFA you can see that only the 3 players nearest the ball have any sort of AI routines running, the rest of the players on the park are tactically irrelevant.

Just give it a try.One match of PES4 and FIFA will look like a piece of sh*t that it is.The original ISS is better than FIFA.Any FIFA.Enough said.

I don't understand why people are so obsessed with licenses.Sure, it's better to have real kits etc. but the gameplay and the realism should come first.FIFA has none.PES4 is the king.Always was and always will be.

Proof of how good PES games are is the fact that people convert from FIFA to PES.Not the other way around.

The kits are sort of recognisable, but u can download patches to make them a lot better

It has the real player names but not team names/kits. You can draw sponsors/kit makers with the little paint program it has.
