Has anyone read this book by Piers Paul Reid? The one about the Uruguayan Rugby Team whose plane crashes over the Andes and are forced to eat their fellow dead friends in order to live?

I have to do an oral presentation on this and I haven't read the book yet :$

If you've read the book before, please post here... (I don't mind if you can't remember half of it, that's half more than I've read :p)

Seach for chapter summaries on the net and just read them, it's a lot quicker and helps a lot... I know because I used them after reading a book this year, although I already know what happened the summaries pretty much quoted everything important.

Yeah I've seen the film... But there's so many characters I got confused between all of them :$

Thanks for the suggestion Callan, but Google didn't turn up with anything :(

I havent read any books, but being Uruguayan myself, of course I know the story :p

there are a few movies, the most known one is Alive (with Ethan Hawk), and is pretty good. but yeah, there's a lot more than that.

and one thing that nobody has mentioned yet, for those who dont know, this is not fiction, its a true story, and sadly, the only story the whole world knows about Uruguay :(

great to know they're making students make papers about it these days :)

Fine, don't eat people; instead you can die.
